No front plate in Ontario?

Here's what happened, obviously the S5 looks better than any other car that was around you so he was admiring your car then he noticed the tinted plate and pulled you over :p

That would have made great sense...except for the fact that I was driving in the CX-7 with my wife and son in the car!

My wife said that if she was driving without me in the car, she would have played dumb with the cop and likely have gotten off with a warning. She's probably right about that.

I'll probably take the plate cover off the S5 though. Can't stand the thought of wasting time trying to fight any other potential tickets.
