I’d suggest the newest Nissan pathfinder 2012, it has the sport look and all what you need.

JHM Supercharged B7 S4 Avant 6MT for me :) In my eyes, can't get much better than that for 2 kids or less.

We just bought a new every day car. In looking for cars our budget was around $25K and it needed to be a wagon and offer AWD, we also really wanted it to be a manual. After looking at V70R's, Benz E Class, Audi B7 A4's we ended up with a '08 Outback XT 5MT. While I have been driving Audi's for the last 20 years I have been around Subaru's for a long time (I seemed to date women who owned Subaru's) and my, now, wife had just bought a '02 Outback 5MT when we first met. I have to say I like Subaru's and the '02 Outback was amazingly reliable so we decided on the '08 OBXT. The '08 had an updated interior and is not bad. The turbo motor does pretty well and tuning them is cheap. The only thing I am not in love with is its handling but I am hoping that bringing it down to Legacy GT ride height will help a lot and that is a cheap and easy conversion. All in all it ticked all the right boxes for us with one 4.5 year old..

    Cheers,
    Jim

Sold her S4 because we didn't need two of the same car and I made out pretty damn well selling it and needed something decent to drive while we found a new car.

After doing some thinking we originally were only going to get another manual car. Well, issue is that there's almost 0 manual cars out there that offer any sort of room in the back and can fit a stroller. The only way to fit the baby seat in almost every car we've checking into was to have the passenger seat all the way forward and the stroller doesn't fit unless we take the wheels off. I'm not a big fan of American vehicles (boring, cheap interior, cheap paint) and most Japanese stuff is not very inspiring as well. Looking for something that has a good blend of looks, room, and power (would shoot myself to drive something that's slower). The other thing is I'd like to get a vehicle that's pretty much good to go as is, i.e. I don't have to mod it to make it worthwhile. Also, after driving the GTi, I already miss AWD as soon as the weather turns south.

So, having said that it narrows things down quite a bit. We've been looking at A6's, A8's, and Phaetons. Any suggestions?
    1. Congrats to you sir

    2. DO NOT put your newborn into the back of your B5 S4; your family will barely fit (as demonstrated by this photo).

    3. Suggestions:

    A3 3.2 VR6 Quattro?
    A6 All-Road with either 2.7T or 4.2 V8?
    Marine Driven. Marine Approved.

It isn't a manual but we love it. We have an Escalade. Wife loves the torque, elegance, haul anything and everything and still get 22hwy. We got it used with 4,000 miles and have 40k. Not one single problem. And our dealer is awesome! Oh, and it's all wheel drive.

At this point we're going to end up with an allroad. For the time being I just picked up a P38 Range Rover Vitesse to fix up.

I went with an Acura MDX Touring. It's so much more practical than any sedan or wagon. If required, we can even flip the 3rd row up to accommodate 7.
