Dre honestly fuel mileage wont be much better at all in the 6cyl....

Its a big heavy truck that is having a small motor work hard to lug it around or its a big heavy motor with a big motor hardly working to lug it around.... In the end the Big motor really does not cost much if any more and it gets less wear and tear and has fewer issues because of it...

I understand that there are variables such as tires and gearing, but an Efi 300i6 should get better mileage for daily driving with the trucks I'm looking at, no?

Thanks Dre.. I love the truck. I don't think I will ever selling it. Its fun driving a rear wheel 5 speed truck. When I did the basement remodel this saved me a lot of time and money,

Apparently you don't know me very well yet. I go through cars like nobody's business lol.

Selling it because I want a truck. Buying a house this year so need one for moving/odds and ends. Down the road I will be buying a quad and maybe a pop-up trailer so a truck makes a lot of sense for me.

The sol is fun, and I love the transmission, but it just isn't right for me right now as it is a toy and the Audi is already too much of that lol

Not really. When it comes down to it your looking at a load weathered trucks. Unrefined american block iron. Reliable yesish. Economical... no. No matter how you slice it its going to have crap economy. And trust me a old 6cyl engine will have had to work a HELL of a lot harder during its life then the 8cyl's had too. Honestly get a CLEAN 8cyl. It will be your best bet.

i know I was almost hesitant to post it.... I was debating of snatching this gem up for myself.... But alas I dont really need it so Dre if you ever trusted any of us ever trust Vinny and I.... Thats the one!
