I found a deliciously paleo combination for lunch: Mix 3 almonds, 3 grapes, 1 blackberry (been getting bitter ones lately so this masks it a bit). Eat them all at once!
Just doesn't taste the same to me. Nothing wrong with it I guess...probably has minimal fat content and if it's high in fat, the omega6/3 ratio is probably skewed.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

I retract my question. I tried it last night and remembered that it tastes like complete dog-shit. Most likely going to throw the rest away because it's nearly inedible.
Anyways, legs yesterday:
Horiz. Sled
12 @ 280
10 @ 320
8 @ 340
Leg Curls
10 @ 120
8 @ 125
6 @ 135
Powersnatch, then rest bar behind neck, then a lunge on each leg. (These wore me out)
3X 6 @ 80lbs
Lower Back Extension
2X 15 @ BW+25
Leg Extenstions
2X 10 @ 175
Also, my Weight has been hovering between 172-174 lately
Fell off the wagon a bit this week. Superbowl party and having monday off kinda threw things askew. Gotta get back with it and it's been almost a week since my last workout.
Think i figured out the grip issue a bit and it was only affecting me when I was using the smith machine for my deadlifts.
Because I had to rotate the bar like 60 degrees everytime I pulled it off the rack, I was never able to secure my grip beforehand. Now i'm resting it on the ground prior and taking a good amount of time to set my grip. I'm using a slightly modified method of the video i think illusion posted in this thread earlier. Haven't hit any really heavy deads yet but i'm noticing no issues just below the 250 mark.
Well I have to work today so I took yesterday off to snowboard and it was rough considering I did a heavy legs day on wednesday. My legs were beat after 4 hours but I decided to throw up a nice video of one of the skiier's I was riding with throwing a backflip. I threw a few 360's and 180's but nothing this impressive.
Well the cold I had was one of the worst i've had in 3-4 years. Took me out for 10 days.
Weighed in at 175.8 last night (heaviest recorded weight of the year). Snapped a picture of myself and compared it to just 3 weeks earlier and i'm upset but there wasn't much I could do considering my workout routine's were destroyed for a week thanks to Tu being in town and 10 days for the cold.
Anyways, its going to hit 70 degrees everyday this week so motivation is at an alltime high for the year to get into pool shape. I intend on diligently weighing myself and snapping photo's for the next 6 weeks or so and will ultimately have a good barometer for what 6 weeks of training can do. Might start doing some HIIT to my tuesdays or thursdays.
Subtract at least 20lbs from that if you're using the smith machine...I would actually say closer to 35lbs.
Well because Geoff immediately belittled my last personal record thanks to it being on a smith machine, I decided to man up and use the free bar despite one of the collars being broken.
Deads:
10 @ 135lbs
8 @ 225
4 @ 275
2 @ 295
1 @ 315
Wish I had a belt. I think i'd feel more comfortable pushing higher above 300lbs with one.
Hoping to keep the momentum rolling but I got sick AGAIN over the weekend thx to no sleep for st. pattys day. I'm going to work out through this one but i've also gotta move this week too so I will probably be straining my body and prolong my recovery.
Did a bit of unique crosstraining yesterday. Had to move to the apartment above us and had to get 80lb leather couches up to the loft. Basically had to powerclean them, then my roomate took over, and I sprinted upstairs to the top of the loft to alleviate the weight from the roomy and pull them up.

Got sick again thanks to a 4:30am night friday and then a 6:00am night saturday. I'm a moron. Going to try to hit the weights today but i've still got congestion.
Well I have 2.5 more months of bodyweight and bodyfat data and it's shockingly consistent. Avg bodyfat remained the same and average weight dropped by 0.1 lb haha.
I really want to drop my average bodyfat by 1/2 to a full 1% but I've been plagued by a sinus infection and mild food poisoning as of late.
Where the hell has everyone been? It's on the cusp of summer and outdoor activities when I figure everyone wants to look their best. Yet this place has been a graveyard for two weeks. Did everyone give up?
Wow, somehow managed to eat 3lbs worth of food last night.
Anyways, lost a bit on flat bench somehow and kept getting jacked on the equipment I was working on because I was doing super-sets and people were too oblivious.
Lower Back extension (extra effort not to swing and use my bodys' momentum):
3 x 10 @ 35lbs
Also calf raises and leg extensions.
First time trying bulgarian split squats and I might switch between those and lunges just to keep it fresh.. Like I asked in the other thread, is there any advantage to one over the other?
My Paleo Jerky finally arrived and honestly I like it better than ANY of the jerky I can get at the grocery store. Each pack still is high in sodium (42% of daily) but each bag is also PACKED with protein (28g)
I've been absent a lot lately TBH, glad to see I was able to insight some motivation to hit the free weight deadlift. Great work on the PR.
You mentioned something about a belt though. I would not use it because you are uncomfortable. You should be able to comfortably hit the heavy stuff without the belt. It is not a safety item, it is a training aid. Just make sure you don't get it to rely on it, get it to improve your lifts.
