    Hows it going everyone?
Im new to the whole Audi world and forums and decided to introduce myself.
My name is Derek and I just purchased an 02 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro (blk, 6spd) and have been already in the mod mode with only 2 weeks of ownership. Justrecently created a cold air intake and looking into exhaust (possibly dual magnaflow 14851's)... thoughts?

Welcome! Congrats on the pick-up! I loved my A4 I had as well, & I think dual magnas would sound pretty sick, but of course, always do your research before commiting!

Oh and by they way, check out our Saturday meets we try and get organised at Tilted Kilt in Schaumburg! Should be a good turnout today you're of course more than welcome to join us.

    Hey thanks!
Yeah I spent about a year debating and looking for which I wanted to go with. 98-01 B5, 01 S4 or an 02-05 B6... Really would have liked to come across a clean 01 S4
clean and untouched but thats rare haha.
Ive done a lot of reading and from my understanding the dual magnaflows just need to be welded in, but there are not many 3.0 owners out there that are vocal on the
forums so its hard to ask questions.
I did check out the Saturday meets. Do they stay pretty consistent with people showing up or is it hit and miss?

Definitely hit or miss. But I've got a good feeling about this one. But I mean just check the forum at like 4 and see who posts that they are going I guess. That's my plan at least...

So after doing a bit too much reading up on this issue for the past 2 days, Ive come to the conclusion that my ballast is bad as well. I have an 02 A4 and I swapped out the bulb, that didnt work, tried it in the working side, that worked. How hard is swapping out the balast?
Also, when I went to purchase new bulbs, every site said that the 02 A4 took the D1S bulb but upon removal of mine, the bulb clearly says on it D2S... thoughts on this? Is this correct?
