While I feel that it was probably owned by at least a "partial" enthusiast (you'd have to be to be driving a 6MT Ti Avant, right?), I haven't found any indication that the car has ever been modded in any way. And every pic I've seen of a 2008 S-Line had the RS4 pedals. I think it goes along the lines of the "fake" S-Line thing. Trying to get rid of some surplus parts and at the same time sweetening the pot for potential buyers at the end of a model run. Either way, I'm glad we got them

That's why I need those TI wheels. I wanted TI wheels for the longest time and eventually gave up. You either find them at a good price, which is rarely, or people are asking entirely too much.

Purple was my first thought as it is an extension of our purple winter wheels. If we did, it would likely be a while. I'd want to have them powdercoated. Or maybe chromed/polished with a purple-tinted clear coat.

You'll definitely want to sandblast those. All those spokes and curves would be a nightmare to strip.

If we decide the refinish these, and I don't know for sure that we are. They will definitely be taken to a shop to have full sandblast and professional refinish.

Yep, the T-reg is new to me. I got it back at the beginning of November. V8 FSI (same as the S5 motor). Had it out and about this past weekend, and not to derail your thread (but you asked!) here's a couple pics.

HA! Thanks, Neil. The wheel wells fill out nicer when the 19's are on it with 275/45. These 255/55/18's are dinky by comparison!

Definitely looking for an exhaust option, though.

Are you installing the coil overs with or without adjustable control arms? I have the same coil overs but was waiting for control arms before installing since I'm afraid of wearing out the insides of my tires. I was thinking 24.75"-25" FTG and wondering if I can get away with the install without adj. CAs
