road racing superstars need instructors to baby them around a track after they add 50-100 lbs of audio equipment and power robbing modifications to their "track weapon"
When you can see every civic drivers penis shrink when you rev your engine at them when they try to race you, love the look on honda drivers faces when they realize my wagon will smoke them lol
When one of the mechanics at the emissions test facility stops working on a car and walks over and asks like a child in a candy store to pop the hood open and then repeatedly says "I can't believe they managed to fit a V8 in that thing!"
.....you hit the gas just to hear that exhaust again.
and again, and again.
When you realize 10quarts is just ONE oil change.
When your local gas attendant knows you by first name.
When random people asks whats under the hood.
When they look under the hood and marvel how that thing fits in there.
Sidebar- I was cruising, feeling damn good about myself, listening to my exhaust soundtrack when a modified 997 turbo pulled up next to me. That thing sounded like hell on wheels. He toyed with me for about half a mile before we hit traffic. Every pull he just rocketed past me like nothing. To top it off he says "I'm sorry, if I go full throttle it'll just lose traction". The V8 now feels inadequate
When the tuner teenagers with their riced out 1.8t comes up and tells you that you should really look at getting some GAIC tuning b/c they're the shit at tuning for the 2.7tt motor like I have, theirs tons of youtube videos about it! And btw, how do you get the twin turbo to sound like that?
Oh, another great one was from another B6 S4 owner. I was at IA in ATL this summer and had just got done retrofitting at P3 boost gauge in my car. I was showing it to some other people while blipping the throttle and the gauge responding etc. Then the S4 owner who's leaning over goes, "wow man, that'd be really sweet if you could get a s/c for this car, I've seen VF has a kit for our car that looks pretty sweet" (I just kinda stared at him blankly and asked him why I would have installed a boost gauge on a N/A motor? And did you not see the positive boost readouts 3seconds earlier. . . he still didn't get it and just said I should look up the VF kit online sometime).
When people say, "too bad it's AWD and you can't do a burnout". . . I usually settle that one without much of an issue
Pulling into a po-dunk country town where imports aren't really "appreciated" shall we say, and then having the V8 muscle car guys start coming over to ask what it has in it b/c it sounds so good (had this happen several times both at the strip and even fast-food places etc).
Having the GF tell me it turns her on when I drive fast and that she enjoys the looks of people's face when they hear/see my car.
Having the GF tell me it hurts her boobs while power shifting 2-3 on the onramp full throttle.

Same except with massive trucks wondering why my audi sounds like it has a V8.

Unfortunately the GF isn't a fan of being sucked into her seat, she'll get use to it with time

Yeah it took mine about a year to get used to it and learn to stop bitching ever time I get one it.
Best thing you can do in the meantime is teach her common courtesy: Don't slide on the leather, don't let your damn nails touch the paint under the handle, and don't dare mess with the climate control, or the angle of the vents.

Speaking of messing with vent angles, why do people always want to touch the carbon fiber trim? You would think it's candy or something...
When RS4 owners tell you that you have no right to be in their thread b/c their is obviously no way we could comprehend the mechanics of the 4.2 fsi engine since we don't own one. Owning a car is obviously the only way to have any knowledge of the platform.
