this morning my daughter and i took the car to the end of the driveway to wait for the school bus without a hood, lights or front bumper, she was quite amused.

lined up a hood and a set of bi-xenon e-codes (+all the ballasts and bulbs) this afternoon, taking tomorrow off to go on a road trip to pick it all up.

Ordered this grill today (really just going to use the trim):



going to pull the mesh off it and use the expanded steal i used for my oettinger grills so that they all match, going to use my rings on this new grill once i mod it up since i don't like the look without them.

just need to order my hood strut, drivers side headlight bracket, and radiator.

Also going to have my bodyshop fab the new hood into a boser before painting it.

didn't make out too bad from hitting that deer last week, car got a complete front end makeover and i netted about 40lbs of venison.

Just did Sparkplugs, new cabin filter, and clean airbox.

as of late: replaced fuel filter, new downpipe section to first resonator (hung too low), front bumper redone (filled license plate holes/respray).

Timing belt, diverter valve (710n), accessory belt tensioner pulley...yay

FINALLY fixed the A4. After replacing every check valve, fuel filter, and injector o-rings, then cleaning the MAF and IAT sensors, spark plugs, throttle body, coil connections, and verifying every clamp on the pressurized side of the Turbo, I bit the bullet and purchased a new PVC valve along with the heat-shrink piping that connects to it, and installed it this morning. I am pleased to report a normal idle, no CEL, and general lack of abnormal behavior. :cool:

Did an oil change monday night. lubromoly 5w40. While I was under the car I found out that my passenger inner front cv boot was ripped and yacking grease everywhere. Going to order a new one.

Installed a new "auto" light switch to replace the peeled mess I had previously. Also replaced the stock dv 123k miles) with an inverted 710n. What a difference!

Checked out the oil level and seen that my Passenger Inner axle boot is ripped. So now I need to order a CV boot kit.

I just finished installing a new coolant expansion tank and completed a coolant flush with fresh G12 and distilled water.

that sucks cause your gonna need to drop the exhaust abit to get the rear sway in there.
