rear license plate holder/mount needed, where to buy?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hello all,
I need a new rear license plate mount for my ride. The top left screw holder is missing so it's all jacked up now. When I tried to change out my plates tonight, it looked like that screw was bent so I ended up having to yank it out and it took the screw holder with it =(
i know i suck at life

sooo does anyone know where I can get another one or if there are any other options out there? Thanks in advance!

    here you go sir:

notice the metal piece on the other side of the screw...that was in the plate holder
so I either need a new plate holder or maybe one more of those metal pieces to replace?

    thanks xbimmer06,

after about an hour, I was able to get the screw out. so since the top left has a hole in it now, I will probably just use the top right and bottom left holes to with the screws. So it will be held down with screws diagonally haha. ghetto i know, i wonder if there is anyway to cover up the two other holes while looking nice at the same time?

Hopefully you don't still need that plate. It's looks like a few stubborn plates I had to take off cars at the dealership I used to work for

The 'nuts' on the rear plate mount are known as speed nuts - it's kind of a clip nut, slips into an opening and slides into position.
I pulled one out of my rear plate mount some time ago, and was able to replace it w/o purchasing a new plate mount.
    Here's a Speed Nut P/N used to install Under Seat Storage Bins - N 900 880 03 - don't know thread size (8-32?), think it will fit.

New plate or press/flatten existing plate.

How did you 'straighten out' your plate - looks as if never happened.

Looks like new personalized plates. I think he said he hosed up the plate holder nut while changing the plates out.

One way to fix hosed plates - pay the govt man for personalized plates
Next for Andy is how to cut down the sides of his OEM plate holder so it doesn't protrude beyond the plate edge
