What kind of seat covers? Is the Recaro Leather not nice enough or were you trying to do some two-tone alcantara look? There is this sweet search engine on this thing called the inter-web or something... it rhymes with louggle.

haha internet tough guy... dude, I just referenced a really silly movie "hot tub time machine"

What about what I wrote was "tough" to you. Jesus... Did you Really get offended. Just type Audi seat covers into google... The only ones I saw were exactly what you weren't looking for though, the nasty black with some kind of "racing stripe" detail. $40 - $80 all pretty generic.

But, on a more professional tip... Don't worry about the seats, watch your seat backs... they scrape easily. I have 30 / yr old friends who still managed to mess mine up. Other than that, buy some S4 monster all weather floor mats, keep food / drink / poop / etc. out of your kids hands and you should be good to go.

I remember reading somewhere that seat covers were not recommended for the Recaro front seats as they may interfere with airbag operation.

On the front seats, yes. But there are no in-seat airbags on the rear seats.

I would say if you want it to look really good and not be an eyesore, you are going to have to pay some dough for a custom cover at an interior shop. Otherwise just get some black vinyl and drape it over the seats.

Custom seats are too expensive.. Why not just ditch the kids? Then you don't have to worry about the seats.... Damn I should get paid for this advise.

I tried. The wife wouldn't let me. Divorce is more expensive then custom seat covers.

I know there are some rear seat covers that are made for dogs/kids but they are nothing fancy.

    Haha! Touche good Sir...

Just try a custom car shop, possibly an place that fixes up classic's. Not that your car is a "classic" but they are used to doing upholstery right... Maybe you can get them to fit some for your seats..
