I looked through that thread. Hey, the guy put in some honest effort. And he did some great paint and body work to the hood. Granted, he reminds me of a dude I used to know that thought the Baretta was the be all end all of cars. Call it flattery. It's funny that they try so hard to look like b7s.

I only read the first post, but what was stated is absolutely true. On RX7club.com, they review your threads before permitting it to be posted. I guess they finally got tired of all the bullsh*t threads. I own a B5 A4, and we have a nice little sticky over there.

Couldnt help myself either and had to read that thread when honeycomb keyword was posted. What a fail. He can carry an extra passenger sitting in the bumper hole in front of the grille.

But back to topic. Im pretty new at this site, and yes i prob have asked alot of noob questions. That beeing said, i did read the new member thread and i did search.
My thought is that it isnt always easy to be sure that what you have searched is the exact answer to what you are thinking. (Damn its hard to explain my thoughts in another language.) And new members will most likely say hi and can you help me with this just to se the reaction of the other members and how the enviroment on the forum is.
And as stated before, as long as its not a membership that you have to pay for it will never be a gentelmansclub with only the finest and most knowledged members ;)
I really like all the help and answers myself and everyone is getting from the members that have been here a while.
If it is a new noob thread where the OP didnt search, maybe do like Operator and Kristokes does. "Search shows this thread: xxxxxxxxxxxx" and leave it with that. Maybe they will get the picture then. I for sure did. ( i hope )

That guy just really confuses me

I think the really discouraging thing about newer members, is that they take all critism as negative critism.

I try to help a lot of the newer guys in the threads they start but if you haven't noticed I can be a very sarcastic asshole at times. I really don't like the comments that put "senior members" on some sort of pedestal, but typically it's true that if you've stuck around long enough to get three rings... Than you usually know and have seen what's accepted, basic engine functions, and who to suggest for proper diag ect ect.

I don't know if I just got too worked up over the k04 thread today, but then that noob posted should I get a Carbonio? Then we told him no, and he proceeded to say he was told a stage 1 chip would damage the engine. I can no longer help this new wave of idiocy. I acquiesce.
