It's time for some euro.
Hey guys! Just got a chance to register here after having browsed for over a year, have finally just got the chance to purchase my first Audi, so I bit the bullet and signed up to be part of the community.
From Australia, I used to drive a Holden Calais (Pontiac G8), and have just sold it to move into a 2007 A4 B7 2.0T Quattro, and I pick it up in a few hours from now!
Previous ride:
New ride!
I'll get some new photos when I pick it up, but some info (I'm stoked to have gotten such a good combo!)
2007 Audi A4 B7 S-Line
2.0T Quattro
6SP Manual
Avus Silver
Leather/Sunroof/etc
Planning on some good things for it, but I'll let the pictures do the talking for now!
Happy to be here.

Hey mate, I am new myself and also an Aussie (Gold Coast).
Nice A4, looks almost identical to mine. What modifications have you got planned?
I have only flashed mine with a superchips bluefin flash (41bhp increase) and just ordered the RS4 rear sway bar.

Just looking at the B8 style tail lights and devil eyes for the front, along with a stage II APR tune and forge DV, for now.
In future, just like my old car, I'll be doing a lot of mods!

Haha, thanks mate! Truth is it was just a V6 dressed up nice, time for some fun with the Audi.

Like I said above, it was just a V6 dressed up to look pretty. It was 5 years old, 100000km+, ex-rental (before I owned it), although it was pretty it was worth nothing and had no power to it! So it was time for an upgrade :)

Thanks man, ppl were confused by that plate so the new one says "IT RUBS"
Btw my neighbor has a GTO (monaro) and I'm always over there checking it out, not very technical but def sounds good and with the right mods looks brilliant.

Depends on weight I guess. But stock for stock it's 235bhp/240bhp to 200bhp. Of course a base tune puts them about equal. But not everyone uses speed as a reason to change cars.... I know I wasn't worried about being "faster" when i got my A4.

That is way to low for quattro weight. I think we are around 3500lbs even for a 2.0t quattro mt.
Also, did those wheels come like that? They are a b8 option here I believe.

Heyy and Welcome :)
first of, what i can tell you is not to use devil eyes, I had Dectane Devileyes before on mine, they look good but the lighting sucks, use original bi-xenon headlights instead.
i bought mine with ballast and everyhthing for 250euro on ebay, and i bet that you also can find it for that price.

Picked her up on Thursday :) loving it! Been having a lot of fun and enjoying the drive, much much quicker than the old car.
Some photos
Just bought a RNS-E unit from the UK as well, got it for a good price and it's in transit as of Monday, can't wait to get it in and get rid of that ugly ass Symphony radio.

Wait... Since when could a P-plater have a turbo car? I guess I'm behind on the times.

P-platers are allowed to have this car under exemption...has to be like under the pwr/weight ratio & classified as a family car and not a sports orientated car such as wrx

Ah ok. So glad I never had to deal with all that shit. Even when I'd visit home at 18/19 I'd just use my american license lol. Too many fucking road/vehicle laws in victoria.

I'm running on a company exemption, probably worth applying for the standard exemption too to cover all bases.
Installed a Forge DV and Spacer today as well, unlike many saying that with the spacer they're losing power, with the combo of the DV and Spacer I actually feel like the car is a lot more responsive than usual.

Haha where abouts in the north? I don't think you'd be too far! I'm just near Heidelberg, to be honest.
I took the pics of my Holden, I dabble in photography as well as many other things.

Yeah you should do a standard exemption as well..only takes 5 mins of your time & free..save you the trouble. Been pulled over before..and even with that exemption had to argue with the cop that I was allowed to drive turbo
