Redline Speed Worx: Tri-State's Specialty Alignment Facility
Redline Speed Worx is proud to announce that we have a new addition to our facility, the Hunter Hawk Eye Elite System with Hunter's fully integrated alignment rack ! We are VERY excited to now have this piece of technology at our shop as it increases our ability to properly service our customers vehicles 10 fold.
New and patented QuickGrip™ adaptors and three-dimensional targets accelerate service with set-up times in seconds instead of minutes. Spring-loaded clamping arms adjust easily to various wheel sizes, and a simple thumb lever locks the clamp in place. Technicians can quickly attach the adaptors without concern for a perfectly centered target; off-centered positioning has no effect on measurement accuracy.
The system's patented clamping arms grip the tire tread instead of the rim edge, removing the worry of damaging expensive rims from metal-to-metal contact. Only a protective rubber ring at the base of the adaptor contacts the rim.
New and patented HawkEye Elite digital imaging sensors include four high-resolution cameras that instantly update adjustment readings on-screen. Working with the newly designed targets, HawkEye Elite sensors provide 3D modeling of wheel position and orientation for the most accurate alignment measurements.
CodeLink recalibrates the steering angle sensor (SAS) to match the final alignment angles of the vehicle, as required by the OEM, to complete an alignment. Failure to perform the manufacturer’s required SAS reset after wheel alignment may cause conditions that could result in comebacks. Shops that are unequipped to handle SAS reset risk enduring these comebacks or may simply have to turn work away. CodeLink wirelessly connects Hunter’s WinAlign® alignment system to the vehicle OBD-II to recalibrate SAS to match the final alignment angles of the vehicle and properly complete the alignment.
Live Ride Height Adjustment Measure and adjust ride height in real-time. Over 20 million vehicles require ride height measurement to complete alignment service.
Lowered vehicles are a problem of the past, we have a zero clearance rack which allows us to get anything onto the alignment rack !
Alignment Pricing Varies by vehicle and suspension system, please call us at the shop / e-mail / PM for pricing on your vehicle specific alignment!

Its worth the drive without that machine. These guys do sick work. I hate their price tag but I still pay it.

Awesome to hear, after standing next to an Auto34 while they mounted my tires on the wheels... I don't know why all these shops don't look into them, complete touchless system to put those of us who are worried about scoring wheels to rest.

If you have a flat-fee that would be interesting. I've seen shops charge by the hour for that.

I'm not aware of cost for 4 corner balancing. I can call around to get an average price, and suggest a cost a few dollars less then the cheapest place I find. This is coming from the consumer's standpoint of wanting to get the best price with quality work.
BTW, just had some parts sent out to be ceramic coated by you guys (arranged and purchased through your shop) .

got my alignment done there friday. Shredded a tire on Saturday. :(. DOnt think it had anything to do with your alignment tho. Did the tire look low when you guys had it? Just wondering. This is the 3rd one I have been through so I know it has zero to do with your alignment. Just trying to figure out the root cause of this issue. I am going back to stock wheels for sure after this incident. I am absolutely sick of buying new tires ever 100 miles.
Thanks for the work Pat. Looks like Ill be back for the control arm re-alignment soon hopefully.

Get Road Hazard warranty/protection. You dont pay the full price of the tire but rather the pro-rated amount, so whatever you used up is deducted.
There was a time where I had a new tire every week. I was rolling on 19s with 35 sidewall

I contacted Tyrol Sport, and they said there is not a set rate on corner weight balancing. Here is the response I recieved.
Hi Mitch,
I saw your posts in the corner balancing thread wondering about pricing and how the service should be priced for customers. It is vehicle specific depending on many factors including coilover type, condition of coilovers, weight distribution in the car, etc. Let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thanks!

Nick - we spoke about this on Friday, that the vehicle needed the adjustable upper control arms to correct the seriously negative camber on the A4 !

when you guys did my car and said I had a ripped cv boot, do you remember which side and which one was it?
I know my wheel is dirty as hell from the ripped boot before but quick inspection of the same boot that was fixed reveals that its OK. Just some left over grease from when they squeezed it.
Been too cold lately for me to play mechanic to pickup car to check and clean wheel.
It was the lowered black b7 s4 with Porsche brakes.

No way that camber shreaded a tire in one day. I found out the real cause. I brought my stock wheels with new tires to my buddy, same guy that did the stretched ones. He was trying to get it done so fast he didnt seat one of the beads. I immediately told him to put it back on and seat the bead, he did. No troubles with the stockers. I think the tires went low for a non seated bead and boom, there goes a brand new tire. So no more stretched tires for me. Stocks are on and upper control arms are on order. Will be back in for a front re alignment around spring time. Until then Ill just have the car sit.
Thanks for everything Pat.
