Forza 4, Audizine club, join in

Hey guys, I've created a club in Forza 4, this game is bad ass, Club name 'Audizine' TAG: ADZN join in!

Just in case my nick on Xbox is Maxidrom2012

Anybody else have the game? What ya'll think?

I think Forza 4 just dusted GT5 :)

Interested to see people's feedback... I've been a die hard GT fan since the first one came out and Forza IMO has been creeping up in game play...

I have had every Forza and GT game in the respective franchises. GT5 is far and away the biggest piece of garbage I've ever wasted $60 on and Forza 4 is a masterpiece of racing sims. They've figured out how to make the game less about having to do the grind to earn money and XP and more about racing and enjoying the action. The physics are the best I've ever experienced in any racing game and the graphics are unbelievable. I've never seen a game create a sense of speed the way Forza 4 does. It's just an absolutely beautiful experience all around.

One thing I do like Forza over GT5 is that you don't have to "grind" to buy cars.

Physics wise, I prefer GT5 still over Forza (though PC based ones are much better "sims"). I haven't had too much time to play with Forza 4 yet (work getting in the way) but I love the tweak-ability of the car settings in GT5. Forza is much more "simplified" (again, I haven't spent too much time in Forza 4 yet - I'm like level 3-4 lol).

Got mine on pre-order for cheap, selling it to my friend though. Until M$ start letting other game wheels work with xbox, I am sticking to PS3 racing games. No point playing with controller...

Doesn't look like they have it for PS3. I used to love Forza on the original XBOX and the irony is I bought the PS3 specifically for GT5. OH well, they gotta keep selling game consoles somehow!

both are exclusive to each console respectively.

I agree with this almost wholeheartedly. I don't think GT5 is terrible, but I did find it very underwhelming. It felt like a slight polishing of GT4 where Forza 4 is far and away better than Forza 3. And oh god, the GT5 menu navigation is so bad. It's much easier to hop in and play Forza the way you want. The performance point system makes so much sense and lets you immediately tune the car you want to drive for the race that's available. Once I realized, "you know, I don't really care whether I upgrade the carburetors or the air filter, I just want the correct performance level to fit in with the other cars in this race," and let the game figure it out for me, I started having way more fun because I could spend more time racing. Its priorities are in the right place.

And the Kinect head tracking thing is actually pretty damn cool once you tweak it to your preference.

I am a big fan of GT5 and other GT series games but like othe said here, its a pain in the ass to get cars and upgrades, the new forza and its options within the game is great, i bearly play the actual world tour of the game but focus more on online racing and different events they have for online users. Apart from graphics and autovista,(I call that car sex) lol, online gaming aspect wins for forza4

GT5 is absolutely rubbish. Forza 4 has improved upon an already stellar platform. They've corrected nearly all of my frustrations with 3 and made a brilliantly fun game to play. Very please.

Just picked up my copy. I pitched a tent from the intro alone. I have to pick up a force feedback wheel. I think madcatz is the only company with one out for the xbox. That wireless horseshoe of a racing wheel Microsoft just released looks like a joke.

Is it possible to have more than one "admin" who has the ability to add folks? Maybe someone who will be playing more could start a group for the club? Just thinking out loud here but it'd be cool to get racing with guys around here and have that common thread. I play quite a bit but I am just a FNG round here.

Can't you just add peoples XBL names to your friends list then play when they are online?

Sure, but you wouldn't get the benefits of a club (a club leaderboard, rival time access and the ability to race against members ghosts easily, the ability to share cars or entire garages with other members, paint jobs, vinyls, club races against other clubs etc etc.)

The club feature is cool but you are correct, it isn't a must.

Check out Fanatec. I got their CSR wheel and coupled it with my G25 pedals. Good stuff.

Has anyone used the fanatec 6 speed shifter? If so how does it feel. Im planning on getting the porsche gt3 wheel because it looks better the cheapest set of pedals with a clutch and the 6 speed h pattern shifter if its any good...

I have the 6-speed shifter. Unfortunately, I have yet to use it. I didn't have a robust enough wheel stand and I would literally just move the thing all over the place when trying to shift. A quality wheel stand arrived today and I will be mounting it to that asap. I will give you my impressions then.

Yeah, I saw their CSR setup, and it looks really nice! I don't have any previous setups or anything, so I'd have to buy the whole deal in one lump sum (wheel, shifter, pedals). Every time I'm about to pull the trigger I start thinking about all the other things I'd want to drop 5 bills on. I'll probably give in one of these nights and make a drunken purchase haha.

Just bought X360 lastnight just to play this game. I can say that this is the best racing game I have played yet. GT5 was good but not this good.

When i get home today I will try to join the group.
We should have some type of a competition with each other.
Choose one car B5 S4 ;)
Choose one track
Choose one class and see who can finish lap fastest. Split them into two groups Assisted and Unassisted. All the track times must be posted via linked picture on here.

Im only level 10 but thats because I started playing at 11pm and got done at 2am. When i get home today I will put few hours on it :)

congrats on the purchase, once you join our club you are welcome to drive shared cars...I think I hit level 40 now and added about 20-25 cars that you can race with...including the B5 S4 ;) I'll be adding more, to include the R8 and R15(I think) LMP1 cars.

*Cars uploaded but for some reason, it only shows previews of the first 4...the rest are just blank screens and you have to "view" the car to see what it is...weird

Yeah, I have that problem too. I think maybe it takes a while to upload the car data to their servers. I've shared four cars so far; nothing special. Still working my way up the ranks.

I looked into it on forza forums, its a bug that developers are working on, at least we can still use them!

So how about a friendly club race with B5 S4s?

We can pick a class, lets say B for example, each modifies their car within that class as they feel needed, some will go for power others for handling, you can also tune the car, mess around with tire pressure and spring set-up, tranny ratio...all little things count
