Just wanted to say FML. My rear H&R coilovers need to be adjusted. Does anyone know any tricks to this? It's looking like I have to take the springs out to do this

We use a cut down wrench. Requires more effort, but it at least clears everything and makes adjusting it doable on the car.

Just went through this on my Avant - its not that bad - even if you have to pull them to free them up (I did). You may be lucky enough to free them up in the car with spanner wrenches and the suspension unloaded. Good Luck

    ^^ +1

Unload the suspension, hit them with some liquid wrench, and spin them down/up with a spanner wrench. If you have to remove them I would suggest coating the threads in anti-seize in case you need to make future adjustments.

    Good luck!

I placed the adjustment peice on the top of the spring, works beautifully.
