Hey Guys... As some of you might already know I have a B7 2006 S4 manual Avant. Just curious to see how many of are out there. What products do you have and how do you feel about them? I recently sent out my ECU to get chipped and I also have the JHM Solid shifter. I'm looking forward to the chip since i've read so many positive reviews on it. It would be nice to close the gap a little with our heavy Avants. I had to replace the shifter in my Avant, it was aftermarket Stratosphere. The plastic ball that the shifter goes through fell apart. JHM's shifter is complete so it was the obvious choice.
JHM 93 tune * JHM Solid Short Shifter * Custom Catless downpipes * Milltek non resonated cat-back exhaust * H&R Sport Springs * VMR 708 RS4 replica's 19x8.5 *
JHM tune and piggie pipes here, shortly to add the intake manifold and light weight rotors f/r. If I get lucky and win the lotto then I will definitely be adding the s/c, unless someone wants to donate the money to me.

when did you get your tune and how do you like it? I can't wait to get mine. I'm actually going the catless route with my dp's.. How do you like the piggies?

Got the tune this past June, butt dyno said it was an improvement but a real dyno showed no real gains or losses after having switched over from GIAC. Went with the tune mostly for update availability they have with each "power" mod you do. As for the piggie pipes they really helped open the car up and bring out some more power, I got an extra 13whp after doing this, (relatively speaking) the only constant factor was the dyno as they were done on different days. If it wasn't for emissions/smog where I live I would have gone with the JHM headers instead of the piggies, I need those main cats.
You need the cats yes and no. Once you pass you're good for two years and can probably pass via the rapid pass mobile vans without the cats. I currently have a Milltek full set up, but the cats were bad in the Milltek downpipes. I gutted them, but will be putting cats in where the stock main cats go.
I'll be getting a JHM tune shortly, I am curious, there was no power difference between it and the GIAC tune?

I ran catless with my last car and I don't want to have to go through the headache of having to swap cats in and out since the only other thing I would do are the headers.

There was/is a power difference between GIAC and JHM, but as I stated since I didn't do the pulls on the same day the results can't really be compared evenly. Back on April it was an 80* day (GIAC) and when I did my most recent pulls (9/17/11) it was a 72* day (JHM).
With that said the difference between the two:
GIAC 224/221
JHM 217/227

Both were STP Corrected numbers
GIAC... Wasn't that one of the very 1st tunes available for our cars? Asides from APR? I wish i would have done some kind of testing prior to getting the chip + catless DP's, but i guess the butt dyno will have to do.

Boring 5 minute video (don't know how to edit/trim) of my tail-pipe while driving in city traffic. If you're looking for action, this isn't for you. If you're looking for sounds, it might.
JHM Supercharged B7 S4 Avant with B&B catless downpipes and Magnaflow resonated catback.
Edit: I added time stamps in the description to skip the boring stuff. Makes it a lot easier to browse (i.e., just click on the timestamps in the description http://youtu.be/VSMPlllw5kM)
It's really not much but I guess it's better than nothing.
Wow. I've seen other. Videos of s4's with the JHM super charger doing pulls, but this is the best one. Good camera quality, done during the day, short and to the point. Thank you for sharing.

If you don't mind me asking, what are those wheels and what is the size, offset and tire sizing you have on your avant? Car looks and sounds great in the video!

Only thing I'm not sure about is that lightweight crank pulley. You're basically taking off the balanced one and replacing it with something that provides ZERO dampening. Mine is coming off shortly and am putting a Fluidampr in its place.
At the moment I just have the SS trio on my car. I'm lusting after their lightweight brake rotors though (amongst other things).
