Rear. I was washing my car a while back and took off the plate. From what I can tell the plate and the mount use different mounting points. I debated trimming it but decided against it because I didn't want rough edges.

Not foam, it's a hard black plastic. Do you guys not get it over there? You can kinda see it under my plate in this horrible pic.

Hard to see with the plate/frame in the way. Here's a pic with plate removed...
FYI - It's just held on with double sided tape once you remove the screws. But if you remove it, there's nothing to screw the plate to.

Is your rear diffusor stock color, or has it been painted, it looks darker but might just be the pics.

We dont get that in Europe, we get a piece of foam under the plate that is slightly smaller than the euro plate size, you can just peel it off for a smaller plate.

That rear plate solution looks fantastic. So much cleaner and better integrated than options available to us. I know some folks have trimmed down the black plastic piece so that the US plate matches or hangs a little over it, but the chrome-look surround you've got basically directly on the metal looks like it belongs on the car.

You need to have the fender wells redone to keep
it like this, or elevate it a bit.
Otherwise the car looks great. Get the Ital frames
so you can loose the naked license plate bolts.
