You're fine and there is no leak IF
a. the hoses are dry on the outside
b. there is no puddle when you park
c. there is no puddle in your bellypan.
So, 2 things:
The system needs more fluid.
The noise you hear is due to the air in the system displacing where the fluid should be. That will work it's self out eventually.
EDIT: Most importantly, make sure all the hoses clamps are tight because if not, this will allow air to get into the system again and the pump will make noise.

on my way home tuesday night i started noticing the noise so i parked it and left it. wednesday morning i popped the hood and the resevoir was completely dry (atleast thats how it looked) so i filled it over the max line to see how much it would drop again.. drove fine - this morning i start the car and its making the noise again when i turned the wheel.. i check the level and its way below minimum so i re filled it now. i figure maybe air got into lines so it just needed to drink it up
