Ok installed my euro flat bottom steering wheel today. Full leather and red stiching Probably my favorite mod. Im not sure if anyone else with a Q has a flat bottom, but this is awesome!! Some crappy iphone pics for now until i get some better shots.

That looks sweet - love it. Does it feel significantly different than the stock steering wheel?

And did you just order the euro part through Audi dealer? Mind if I ask how much? I may need to do this!

Thanks!! Yes feels way different. I love it, the flat bottom is a great steering wheel. I actually purchased it from a friend who purchased it from overseas. It's very pricey but worth it IMO. The install was a breeze literally took 10 min.

Thanks D frost. No issues with fitment. The paddles do not work yet I'm going to get them vag'd tomr to see if I can get them going. I'll keep you updated if I can get paddles on the Q I'll be so happy. Only thing missing IMO.

Definitely interested... you're right about the only thing missing is the paddle shifters :)

Any concerns about coding for the different type of airbag?

Hopefully the harness has the wiring for the shifter to work... fingers crossed...

I just vag'd it I have it done to my A4 to I love it when u start it and the needle does the full sweep

Jos- your Q looks great. I am picking mine up this week 3.2 prem plus dayton grey 20" sport package. I am looking to add some after market wheels and I am considering the VMR's in gunmetal. Wanted to get your's and other's opnions in terms of wha tyou feel would look best with the daytona grey. I am considring the gunmetal finish our a machined finish which has machined surfaces surrounded by grey powder coat. like these:

Wanted to get your's and other's opnions in terms of wha tyou feel would look best with the daytona grey. I'm changing my wheels on the Q5 again back to my matte black VMR V708's 20's this monday. A couple months ago my wife curbed one. I just got it repaired, so I'm mounting them back up. I'm selling my gunmetal V710's that are on the Q5 now for cheap. 20x9 et35 already bored out 66.6. PM me if interested??They are in perfect condition 3 months old not a scratch on them maybe 1000 miles at most.

Can't wait to fill my garage with another superb Audi. I also picked up a Vag Com from Ross-Tech yestrday and I activated the VIM and needle sweep on my A7 last night and I'll be hooking it up to the Q as soon as I get that as well. Any cool codes you know of other than the obvious mentioned above? I am also going to order the LED's now for the license plate and probably an intake as well. Again, your posts are very much appreciated and you do fine work!

Thanks jos. I took enough dayquil yeterday so that I could Vag the Q up. I got the VIM working, needle sweep, windows, ambient lighting, a few exterior lighting mods and the best of all enabled the ADS so I can adjust the gearbox, suspension, sports diff and steering between auto-comfort-dynamic and it's amazing how much difference there is between the settings. I took it out after I coded it and the difference in performance is amazing. I didn't run it too hard b/c I want to break it in first. I will keep everything in auto for most of my driving and alternate from comfort for long trips and dynamic for some fun. However, since I have the shift paddles I don't really need to adjust the gearbox settings to have some fun I guess. I am going to be getting some after market wheels at some point for sure, but I am torn on what route I will go in terms of wheel finish. Jos- I see you have H&R springs on your Q do you have after market shocks on there still or did you upgrade them as well?

I got the ADS codes right from here!! I bought the VAG COM from Ross Tech and I have used it on both the Q5 and the A7. The A7 is loaded so there aren't many features that it doesn't already have, plus it's a newer model so I don't think the hacking gurus have gotten too deep into it yet either. Went back to my matte black 708's i love these wheels i feel like they fit my theme better. I had the wheel my wife curbed redone, and all the center caps wrapped in the dinoc CF. Afew shots next up are brakes and im thinking about the AWE exhaust with black diamond tips.

Looking good! I got the LED fogs in from IMD joy and I will be installing soon. I hooked one up temporarily to see how it looked and it appears brighter than I expected. It's a bit of an install b/c you have to mount the load resistor so that you don't get an error code so I need a little time to do that properly. I think I am going to get the Hartman S5 reps in 20" machined antharcite for my second wheel set. I checked out the AWE tune for the Q, I think it's meh, but that's just my own opinion. Good luck with it if you go that route. The Q looks great though!

Ya I had a HID fog kit in my S4 install was a pain, but the outcome was great. I didn't want all that trouble again that's why I just popped theses Hoens in .So far so good. Those wheels should look nice post up pics when u get them. As far as the Awe exhaust I kinda agree. I like my custom setup I'm not 100% I'm gonna change it. I just wish there were more options? I can't see spending 2 grand on exhaust then waiting 2 months to get it. I'm too impatient!!!
