So I'm looking to add a little touch to my B7 S4 Avant and I can't seem to find anything I like (and the options seem quite limited).
I would like the front to be a tad more aggressive looking (keyword being a tad, not looking for anything too out there). However, the front is still fairly nice stock so I could live with it if I can't find anything to my liking.
However, I find the rear valance to look like ass. I hate the little curving lip (so no, changing its colour would be useless to me). Again, not looking for something too out there.
Anyone have any thoughts/know of some body kit that doesn't take it too far?
Iv'e always liked the look of the Ultrasport front and rear, understated yet unmistakably different. I'm not sure if it would fit for the B7 as it is a B6 configuration...

Yeah, I don't believe the USP kit fits B7 models.
I kinda like this small front lip here: http://www.grounddynamics.com/Produc...e=06-07AA4ATFL
I wonder if that would fit a b7 s4 front (some say s-line excluded. This one doesn't but sometimes, they just forget to write it).
Oettinger is an option for you...although, also not cheap.
I'm not a huge fan of the front. A little too much for me I think. My gf's father has his own body shop and does work on the side so at least that would be free (the painting, mounting, etc.) Parts are still expensive though.
If you have access to a body shop the RS4 stuff is a no brainier...
Since the RS4 sedan was brought into NA, the parts are pretty easy to find and much more reasonable than the B5 version (which I did). I'm betting you could source and buy everything for less than $10k. I'm not sure how generous your GF's father is, but that will save you a TON of money.
Go for it and have something unique (to North America at least)

$10k for cosmetic changes? I'd rather spend that on supercharging the car :) And if someone rams me, I doubt the insurance will care to cover those rs4 body parts.
Quick question though, is the B7 S4 rear bumper for the sedan the same as the avant or are they different? They look similar with a quick glance but doesn't necessarily mean they are.

The fronts? They're going to be the same. The rears? They're going to be different, but that's because it's an Avant, not a sedan.

K, thanks. Seems like there's hardly anything available for the S4 Avant. Everything I find is either for the sedan or the A4 avant (which they keep saying "non s-line").
Aside from an RS4 conversion or the Oettinger kit and some even more aggressive looking kits (and even then, they're so aggressive that I didn't bother checking to see if they were for sedans only), there isn't much I can do with the rear. Oh well...
Hmm, well, lets see some pictures of your car - maybe we can make some suggestions other than body parts. Personally, I think the OEM B7 S4 body looks great, especially lowered, some nice wheels and some mellow exterior stuff.

Not the best pic as this was an evening bbq but you get an idea. I'll be taking more in the next couple of weeks after I move (which is today!).
Considering how beautiful your car is already, the ONLY thing I'd even remotely consider is the RS4 widebody/conversion. Otherwise, don't do a thing.
Same. You could do some subtle changes, like shaving the side markers, e-codes, RS4 grill, black trim, etc... but for the most part your car is fantastic looking.
Some nice big 14.5" Alcons would look pretty sweet under those OZ's too!

Thank you both for the compliments. As I mentioned, I wouldn't want anything extravagant. I guess the RS4 conversion would probably be my most obvious option but I think I'll wait for that. A tad expensive. As for the Alcons, I have 14" Stoptech ST-60s on so I think I'll stick with those for a while. I got them one month old for 50% off from a friend so I jumped on them. (you may not be able to tell from the pic above though due to the low light). Here's a close-up (before I got the coilovers installed).
I'm probably late in the party here, but you thought of the DTM front?
The Storm Trooper:
Carbon Fiber Stuff. Vinyl Stuff. Podi License Plate Bracket. AWE Quad Black Diamond Tip Exhaust. 19" VMR V713 Gunmetal. Drop in K&N Air Filter. B5 Spring Perch Plate on Audi Sport Suspension.
RS4 or nothing. You already have the supercharger, and with access to a body shop, it's a no brainer. Some of those things on the list above are not required as I see it, but more of a nice to have type thing. Like the euro lights & RS4 hood. Of course if you can find a wrecked RS4 sedan with rear end damage there's all your front body panels. (And I believe rear doors too as I think the window frame is the only difference between the sedan & avant.

+1
DTM bumpers to avants are both rare and look great... If you achieve fitting the rear bumper too by mixing the Sline with DTM rear, then you will have a unique avant...
