I think I am going to pick up some Paint polish and Glanz wax. I have a 7 year old S4, but the paint still looks great even after a simple hand wash. However I have very minor swirl marks, only seen under my garage light

Used the 1Z by hand, polish then wax. Turned out FANTASTIC. Used the extra paint cleaner on a couple problem areas and the paint damage cleared right up.

Dont have a fancy camera but the results are clear

Hey mike, my ac was smelling really bad so I went ahead and order your kilma klean product.
It worked a little bit but the ac still stinks, any ideas? Should I use another bottle? Thanks

I just bought my second audi and I want to give it a beginning clay and rewax to get the factory crap off of their and start it off fresh. Any tips and tricks? I have never used a clay bar, but have use waxed plenty of times lol. I always did one panel at a time.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being most severe, what was it before and what is it after the treatment?

    - Check your cabin air filter
    - Make sure the evacuation tube (drain tube) is free and clear. If you run your A/C on a hot day you should see plenty of water underneath the car.
    - Make sure there's no debris like leaves in the fresh air intake

If a system hasn't been treated in a while or never treated, sometimes a second treatment is needed.

First, congrats! With a new car, I personally feel that clay would be too aggressive. A mild polish like PolishWax topped off with Glanz Wax would start you off on the right foot.

PolishWax will remove any contaminants while enhancing the depth and gloss. Glanz Wax will seal it off with durable protection. Apply both with a foam applicator pad. Hope this helps!

Sorry for taking so long to reply, the cabin filter is new.

Before the treatment on a 1-10 it was a 9 now id say a 7, its worse for the 1st 1 min then it gets a little better. The intake is clean and im not sure

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. As far as checking the drain tube, water should be draining from the evaporator box (which houses the evaporator core) and you should see dripping underneath the car after running the a/c. Not sure how old your car is or what region you live in (lots of humidity or dry climate) but if the evaporator core is fairly contaminated, a second application might be required.

Is there a type of brush I could use for cleaning alcantara? Ive also heard there are brushes out there that I could use for "bringing life back into worn alcantara"? And last but no least is there a cleaner for alcantara you prefer?

I would love to hear any tricks to applying Cockpit. I've always used just a microfiber towel. I notice it seems to go on a little blotchy.

Use a foam applicator pad. It will spread the product evenly. Then lightly buff off any remaining residue with a microfiber.

Mike - what's the metallic polish wax and how's it different from the polish wax. Both are in red cans. For metals only?

My car is a new S4 and I want to try out the polish wax and gland combo. But need some exact application instructions.

Car wash first. Dry. Then start polish with hand applicator. Wipe off with microfiber. Then glanz with hand applicator. Wipe off with microfiber. Sound about right?

How bout time in between 2-3 applications on glanz. Can it be done immediately or better to waitvan hr? More or less?

Have Napa leather in my 2012 S4. I purchased the 1Z einszett Leather Care Lederpflege to use on my seats but was curious about the steering wheel. Can I use it on the steering wheel, is the a best way to apply it and will it discolor the stitch, its gray in color.

    Thank you.

it should work nicely on the steering wheel, what I would do is apply the leather care on the mf applicator pad or towel first and then blot fold the mf towel or app to blot it down then apply on the steering wheel.

Thank you. Is "blot fold" when you apply the product to the towel then fold it over so less product gets onto the surface? Basically using the opposite side of the towel from which it was applied.

Sorry if this is an amazing stupid question. Never heard that term.

    Thanks and love the products.

blot and fold the towel so you spread it out on the towel then apply and buff off.

Does 1Z make a 'restore' product? My wifes car the vinyl on the rear bumper (jeep) has faded to a light gray (from original black) and I'd like to get it back to it's original condition or something close? I'm hoping 1z makes a product that is good for that job, as well as cleaning up all the plastics under the hood of MY car (audi s5).

any suggestions? Some other folks have told me i might need to pre-wow/black wow it, but i'd rather not have to collect another brand of products for 1 little project and then never use them again.
