No more flares because the flares look quite dumb on it, if i have time this weekend ill try to mock them up and show some pics for kicks...
about more low, i dont know if its going to happen, i cant put one finger between the tire and the fender right now, i am trying to add some camber but even that has to wait until motor is in so i can drive it to the shop thats doing the alignment. The wheel is pretty tight in there, i have less than 1mm of clearance between the upper control arm and the wheel so yeah not much room to play with.

if u didnt refuse to go lower you could pull it off
Yeah, but that would mean cutting the fenders to make room to go lower, otherwise there is no way.. And maybe with a square tire instead of stretched. But that wont work either because it will hit the control arm.
So, im putting the flares up for sale...anyone interested?

The blue audi has waaay to wide of wheels, just looks terrible in my opinion. I am running 225 with 18x8 rims and its the ideal size for good performance and nice look if you really want to go for the big rim stuff without having to mod or rubbing issues.
the one on the first page? The reason those look "bad" (i dont think it looks bad, just not my cup of tea wheels) is cuz they have high offset and they are prob 19" (unless im wrong) and the car is slammed on them.
I beg to differ, the 18x8 is by far not the most ideal for performance or looks (the latter depends on style so its hard to argue). If you have lots of power, you want as wide of a wheel as possible for most traction (not that our cars lack that but still)
mine are 18x12 in the back and 18x10 in front and im quite content with them...besides an 18x8 can look really bad with the wrong offset

They are from the same seller and are similar yes, but i made them custom to fit the B5 rear wheel well. I am sure they will work with any Audi or VW though...
At this point I accept any reasonable offer

lol cuz i am building my motor, which seams to take longer than i ever wanted (have too many things going on at the moment)...I just bought a GT3071R kit and motor is getting finished...
Hopefully I'll have it on the road by april. Then I'll take care more of wheel stuff and take some pics with the finished product...

I dont believe that you can get anything wider than a 9.5 in the rear on the narrow body cars. I have seen a few people with rs4 widebody setups running 10 inch all around. The problem you run into is the upper knuckle in the rear. ive run 18x9 rears et 35 with rolled fenders and they fit flush.
Def wrong i had a set or rims that were 10'' in the back, i was running a spacer. i had pictures but they got burned in a house fire that i had at the time.
