The long awaited AZ exclusive meets are here. after some collaboration we have come up with the final plan and it is as follows.

The meets will be on a once a month frequency. Rotating between 2 locations every six months (more details to follow). This meet has been designed to create a great atmosphere for Audi & VW enthusiasts alike to meet, hang and show off! :) We are trying to keep a 100% positive atmosphere, Please ladies and gents let’s keep this a event everyone wants to attend. Now on to the scheduling.

The meets will be on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30pm until whenever. The Very first meet will be in July 2011

December 1st, 2011
January will be the exception to the rule due to New Year’s (Technically the 2nd Thursday!). January's meet will be January 12th, 2012

Locations, we have gone with a nice split schedule for locations. We have 1 location for July - December meets and another location for the January - June meets. We will start with the location for July - December
. July - December
This location is a Parking structure on Thomas and Central Ave in Downtown PHX. This location on the roof is a beautiful view of the near buildings and provides that city feel. The parking structure is on the south west corner of Thomas and Central. It is right behind the Honey Bears Eatery. It is the 2700 structure. If u look on Google maps it is the most north structure in the line of three parking structures.

Here is 2 satellites of the Parking Garage. The first satellite will indicate what structure it is. The second one will be of the entrance u will have you use to get into the Garage. 1st one 2nd one

Everyone will need to enter at the north side and go all the way up until you see Stephan and i sitting there. We have a special way of getting in up top. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT! Please do not rip it through the garage we do not need to attract unwanted attention!!!
. January - June
Next the January - June meet spot. This is located at the Marina parking lot at Tempe Town Lake. First satellite will so exactly the spot I’m talking about and second satellite will show you 2 ways to get in. This spot is close to the other meets but in a spot that is like 3 times cooler!

Just a warning and i will repost about this, on this location it is sketchy getting in. Any car will make it just fine just don’t want everyone to romp it in their low cars.

I think this sums it up. I feel like they are very easy spots to get too and i think this is going to be a great success. But to make this a successful meet we need the support of everyone! Hope to see you every month!

My kids are 2 and 4. My wife is not in to cars. So getting away during the week to hang out with car people instead of helping get the kids into bed would not fly. In case you are not very good at reading between the lines... what I'm saying is... my wife has my balls. I get to play with them on weekends... but during the week she has a pretty firm grip on them. Which--as it turns out--isn't too bad because I like it a little rough. I may be able to pry them away during the week once a month.

Little kids = Why I don't make many get-togethers. Mine are 4 and 5.
However, I'm definitely making the July one of these. I have to tour a building at Central and Jackson that day from 2-5. Think I'll grab some dinner and stick around for the meet.

nnnick thanks, i actually answered my own question just minutes after that post in finding this thread. even better because my body shop (phoenix collision and custom paint) is at 30th ave and thomas just up the street. i talked to some buddies and we'll try to get a few out. my buddy jerm in n phx has a vw/audi mechanic shop (european speed and service)and can get some word out too. you have any fliers or anything? second location is still good cause its close my house lol
