So while waiting for my tune and piping.... I did some extreme cleaning. Also I'm glad I bought a universal piping kit as well so I might be able to run my fogs still!

Heres where the problem lays now....
How do I hook up the piping from the intercooler to the turbo. The pass side is to short and I dont understand the drivers side at all....

So far so good! Car seems to be running strong. I need to pressure test it to find my tiny coolant leak. I'll be buying Vagcom so I can get deeper into the system.

I'll post a video when I get a friends gopro.

What is your previous automotive experience? Have you done motor pulls in the past?

Nothing really besides oil, suspension, and other little odds and ends on this car. First motor pull ever. Internet is a great resource for doing it and take lots of high res pictures.

Its going to look good. My car came with the same shift knob when I got it.

Yeah it fits really nice in my palm. Only bad side is you can't touch it in winter...

I couldnt touch it in the summer, either.

Why dont you check out the delrin knob from JHM? I recommend it. I can safely touch my knob even when its 105* outside.

Thats pretty much what i've done, and I might just do the work myself (I have to pull the engine) to save a load of money...

How long did it take you to get it out, and back in?

Yeah it's simple.. just takes patience and time. I think it took about 20 hours or so to pull it. Thats with a few breaks here and there. I didnt do it all at once. And putting it in seemed much easier than pulling it out.

That's almost always the case, especially the first time around. You remember how it came apart, so it goes together smoother/faster.

It's fun to show people but other than that I just remembered I had it today and I've only been driving for 400 miles.

Had an issue with my EV14s. Didn't put the stock lower orings on them and had a major vacuum leak.

1000 miles on the car so far. Ive been averaging 24mpg some how...

Other updates.

I have a vacuum leak that needs attention. it sits at about 13Hg

Added mudflaps, coolant flush, power steering cooler. Few other odds and ends but its running great.
