Surprised I missed this thread since I watch a ton of TV shows. Recent favorites have been
1) Game of Thrones (very close to the book. pleasantly surprised)
2) Sons of Anarchy (S2 was my favorite)
3) 30 Rock (One of the few good comedy shows around (I hate "The Office" style humor))
4) NewsRadio (Older but great acting and very witty. shame it ended so soon. If anyone knows where I can DL seasons 4+5 let me know)
5) Carrier (Documentary on life aboard an aircraft carrier)
6) American Dad (Better than Family Guy in my opinion)
7) Stargate Universe (One of the top 3 scifi shows I've ever seen. Such a shame it was cancelled.)
I'll add to this thread as I watch more.

Been watching Arrested Development. It has its moments. Also started watching Caprica, which is a spin off of Battlestar Galactica. Another show that was cancelled far too early. It had the possibility of surpassing BSG but it never got the chance. Science fiction watchers want to see lasers and spaceships, which there were too few of in this show. Instead it played like an AMC or HBO drama, focusing on characters' internal struggles and the relationships between them.

BSG could have used more lasers and spaceships.
I've just watched the following movies (in the last 2 or 3 days):
Super 8: good movie til they show the monster
Transformers 3: is there no other actor in Hollywood besides Shia La Beef? He ruins it. Too over the top. Better thatn #2. Leonard Nimoy and his oversized choppers (see dentures) also take me out of the movie.
Glengarry Glen Ross: classic, could watch it anytime. If you haven't seen it, see it.
Green Lantern: I had low expectations and it was better than I expected
Captain America: barele made it through the first half before I got bored
Thor: better than I expected
What to watch next?

Just got into The Walking Dead on AMC, episode 3(or 4?) will be on sunday on AMC at 9est, the first season is only 6 episodes and is on Netflix for anybody who wants to catch up like I just did, awesome show. Zombie apocalypse, what more could u ask for?
Also just got into How to make it In America on HBO, another good show, kinda like the broke version of Entourage lol, so i can relate a little more to these characters than to movie stars livin a ballin ass lifestyle, don't get me wrong entourage is good, just never really got into it.

Law and Order Season 3 marathon
It's amazing how many actors have been on L&O playing different characters, on both sides of the law too.

I watch Dexter at the moment. I got a DVD box with the newest season and I cannot stop watching it. It's so thrilling. Definitely the best series I've seen in the last months. I hope it stays as good as it is now! I can highly recommend it!
Maybe I will also watch a horror movie later today!

I dig AMC shows. Breaking Bad is also good. But i love The Walking Dead. I like zombie movies, but get bummed everytime they end. I just want more zombie action. With a series, it never disapoints. Plus they know how to suck you into the plot.
watching Seinfeld right now.

That one does look good. I really don't know if i want to get into another show. im not much of a TV watcher, can't keep up with more than a couple shows a week. i haven't even been able to watch the last episode of the Walking Dead. sometimes i go more than 3 weeks with just about 30 minutes of watching TV.

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.

Anyone bothered to watch Sherlock? It's a BBC series. Only 3 episodes per season, but each one is an hour and a half. Right now up to S02E02.

I have a few shows that I record on my DVR. They aren't all on now but throughout the year when they come on I usually keep up with them.
HBO- Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, and True Blood
TNT- Leverage
USA network- White Collar, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, Covert Affairs, and Necessary Roughness.
FX- Justified
And my buddy got me into this show, I forget what channel, but it's called Impractical Jokers. Shit is fucking hilarious.

I'm on my 4th time through The Wire and taking my time...one or two per day. There's so much that you don't 'get' the first or second time through.
I keep trying to get T to watch but she has trouble getting through the early ones, and with everyone saying it's one of the best shows ever, she has really high expectations.

Yeah, season 1 starts a bit slow, but it's amazing by the end. Probably so you get to know the characters and stuff. I felt the same way as T at first, but because everyone said the show was amazing, I stuck with it.

RIGHT?! for a movie named Drive, they should have more than 2 actual driving scenes in it. I liked the movie. a bit of something different than the norm (writing/characters over special effects). just wasn't what i was expecting.
and yeah, i think im going to keep going with GofT's

RE: Drive...I thought they had hired a Terminator to play the main character. Would it have killed him to emote for 5 seconds?
