On mine when I was wiring it I had to splice the matching body harness plugs (from 1.8t motor) to my 2.7t. I was going to repin but noticed that some pins were wider then others. Im sure it can be done by maybe trading spots on the chassis side for the couple times it occurs I just chose to go for a splice.
Also as for a pigtail into ecu box I think it will fit if you loop it down past where the chassis plugs are and back up.
Im just waiting for coils and an exhaust and Ill be on the road good looks and more picssssss
You have any wiring info on what you did Wide? Cause we are both 03 A4's. Next week I'm going to getting into mine. What did you do for front mount sunb?
Hahaha...dood! If the movie director wanted the car in the next fast and furious, I'd definitely submit the car! :-P - BoostBeeyatch
Basically I used 2 Bentleys one for A4 and one for A6. My car was 03 1.8t CVT and the donor drivetrain was 02' A6. Only diff is mine is a Tip so some minor wiring differences. Im trying to work them out but have some customer cars that come first i am doing a tranny in a A3 DSG right now so im tied up for a bit. I can gather the scribble up so it makes sense maybe but I don't have a perfect cheat sheet yet. I do have have an extra set of body plugs and harness plugs im going to do up so some lucky winner can get that. For my snub I used the stock A4 1.8t one and modified the metal by cutting off the ends of the tube used for the intercooler. I then cut a small piece where it nubs up, fitted and marked the aluminum piece and drilled holes and tacked in some nuts. There is a pic on my FB page under stuff. heres a link http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater
Hey i have a 2002 a4 i have recently started a b7 DTM bumper facelift, i plan on doing proper fender splicing to keep the b6 lines and match up to new b7 front, i also have sold my 1.8 and purchased a complete 2.7 engine, i plan on doing rods, rings and bearings. i am also outfitting frankenturbos and direct port nitrous with supporting mods. so far as far i have
from what i read you can use a b6 3.0 front rad support, so i will need to use a b7 rad support for the conversion i would assume im looking for the 3.2 rad support? i have seen another b7 conversion and it happens to have a 3.0 ( http://forums.thecarlounge.com/showt...-ny&p=72693423 ) so would it be safe to assume the 3.2 support is what im looking for?
Clint, get a move on. I want to get working on swapping a 2.7t into my latest 3.0 A4, but I'm waiting for some wiring diagrams and directions cause I don't want to figure it out myself.

That is the very end Tim. Get all the hard parts bolted and finish the wiring last. The harness will be hooked up to the engine when it goes in. I will be more than happy to contribute to the wiring effort, but I need to get my turbos and downpipes in. I need to put those on first before I stab the engine and tranny in.

Fixed.
Yeah, I'm trying to decide which direction to go with the turbos when my tax return comes in. Frankenturbos?

i am undecided aswell, my friends father who makes custom TIG manifolds and intercoolers for rally cars has offered to build me manifolds for a VERY fair price, but if i can get more people on the bandwaggon it would just make the deal better, if i go this route i am thinking about the gt28rs's or i may just end up with frankenturbos its a win win.
Ok, so what ECUs can be used for this swap? Anybody got a list of part numbers and some advice? I've heard that the A6/Allroad ECU is the one to get to maek this swap easier, and the A6 motor might be the preferred version too, since it may have different sensors than the B5 S4 one.
