Gotta replace my windshield noticed a crack today about 4 inches then lunch time took a look and it was like two feet long. This sucks!

I replaced my windshield in July at safelite by target in salt lake. They were fast and it cost me about $418 for everything.

It wasn't OEM glass...I could tell you what they used when I sit in my car again. But it holds up like a champ. Already took a load of rocks into the windshield (thanks to my wife's road rage driving), and not a scratch yet.

Windshield fixed, picked up freshly powder coated vmr710s in gold vein. I'll post picks when I get home, ill be coming to the cruise Sunday

My v705s just got out of powder coating last Friday and should be shipped tomorrow. Why tomorrow, rather than it being shipped yesterday or today? I have no clue, but I had to give them a call today to follow up.

Fkn a. Just was told one of my wheels has a finger print on them from powder coating. It's been over a damn month just to powder coat. SMH

What's worse is, my wheels won't get here till next week. It just better be on my doorstep before I go on vacation on the 29th.

Anyone drive what I think is a B7 in silver in the Kapahulu area? Better not be someone from here... Fucking drunk douche took a wide ass turn, wide enough to get into MY lane going the opposite direction, swerved backed into his side then slightly swerved again back towards me and swiped my rear panel. Happened around 3 A.M. by the Zippy's. Was dropping off my friend by that Chevron kinda by the zoo. Got out of the car to try to get his plates since he had a filler plate on in the front but missed it. Less pissed that it happened while I drove the family care but still, messed up! Damage isn't too bad I could probably polish most of it out but theres 2 parts where the paint is gone completely.

Was the silver B7 modded? The only one I know of is Eric's old A4, but I don't know the new owner, but there are a lot of stock ones everywhere.

oh ya so conclusion on my car, choke corrosion on the negative side of the battery cable. cleaned it off and jumps everytime, overall new battery is recommended.

f*cked up man, if I still lived on that side I'd keep an eye out for you, hopefully he get's spotted somewhere there aren't too much B7's with filler plates, know if it had wheels or anything? I've seen a silver B7 with a plate filler a few times at Best Buy in town while visiting my friends shop, it had aftermarket tail lights and wheels

It's not eric's old car my best friend owns eric's old car and he doesn't have a filler plate

I'm pretty sure it was modded. Wheels were all dark so probably powder coated or something. Couldn't see much since it all happened so fast and that place was dark. Broken street light or something. His tint was pretty dark too so at least 35%, couldn't see his face or even if his plates were on his dash. He probably took that turn at 25-30 and I think he knew he hit me since even I heard the noise through my radio. He even took the first possible turn and by the time I U turned out of Zippy's he was nowhere to be found. Friend said he'd keep a look out too. Probably scraped his front left bumper/headlight area. Maybe he messed up his mirror too cause the sound it made when he hit me bent or broken something of his. Didn't just sound like a scrape. Guess I gotta get that porter cable earlier than expected...

Thanks for the suggestion bro. I wish I never went through VMR to powder coat. It's gonna be 6 weeks by the time they are done and that's being optimistic. So rediculous.

I am thinking of either selling my Rotiforms or powder coating them, so I'll hit you hit if I decide to powder coat.
