Haha yeah the ride height has been bugging me since the day I bought it. So after first day we got the motor/tranny out and pulled the turbos. As I expected the spider hose broke in 2 places. I'm going to look into repairing it before heading up to the dealership. The plan for tomorrow is to get the turbos/downpipes/clutch installed along with the rest of the small stuff so the motor can go back in first thing Sunday.
Here's a few pics of today's progress. I'll try to get some better pics tomorrow.
Looks great bro. I'm so wanting to go FT's, but I need to get some more funds for mine since I'm also doing an 01E into my B6 along with the 2.7T. I'm doing a few things different with polished valve covers and 034 Street Mounts. I would like to know what SSAC downpipes you picked up. I might go with those also, but didn't know if I wanted catted, res, or no res and finish the exhaust at a shop since nothing else will really fit. So keep me updated cause I'm also going to get my engine in very soon unless I need to save up for FT's
Hahaha...dood! If the movie director wanted the car in the next fast and furious, I'd definitely submit the car! :-P - BoostBeeyatch
Have the turbos and inlets in. Did the valve cover gaskets along with the injectors and new coil packs. Installing the downpipes now the on to the JHM linkage. I'll post a few pictures later tonight.
Yes it is the new thing to do since the BAT A4's can't put down the power all the time with clutch problems up the ass.

Thanks and the 2.7T should be a ton of fun in your B6. I went with the resonated downpipes because I want to keep it a little more quiet. I'll see how it goes though. And my valve covers won't be delivered til Monday since they were dropped off too late to UPS. But I guess I'll install them when I get some more free time. Your polished covers should look really good once you get everything installed.

I wished you would of asked me about getting them done. I could of got them powdercoated for 60 for the pair with a local and I got the polishing done for $75 each. I picked up some R8 coolant and engine caps along with another clear coolant thing like you are doing too. I think I'm doing the same downpipes.

Yeah it was a last minute impulse buy. Found them already set already powder coated on ebay for $95. Same with the cross rod that was just posted in the classifieds. Was supposed to ship Wednesday and I still don't think it's been shipped.
Started off by giving the engine and the engine bay a much needed bath.
Turbos installed with oil/coolant lines and inlets.
Downpipes installed
Obligatory turbo comparison pic
First thing in the morning we're welding flexpipes in the mid pipes and installing the JHM linkage upgrades. Hoping to get the engine back in the car and finish everything else by the end of the day.
Good work man. I havent ever seen this car around.
Realy? It was a local here in columbus for a few years. It had some BBS wheels before, but I can't remember which ones by name. I'm glad condo is upgrading the he'll out of it. I need to show him about this.

Condo- the build looks great!
IVRINGS- love the polished covers, also I used the SSAC dp's without resonators just x pipe to 2.5" piping to magnaflow 14581's and it sounds good to me. Not loud just a nice deep tone.
