Hey everyone, its snowed the past 2 days and I haven't been able to do any logs.
I need to get some done for VAST so they can fine tune this thing, so I will do/post some soon.

Nice build man! Glad to see it all came together! Can't wait to see logs! MDJ, as for those tires, I have those exact ones on my S4 right now, with coilovers, and there's a bit more road noise than I'm used to, but the grip on those things is worth it, imo. A stickier, lower profile tire is always gonna be a bit noisy, just no avoiding it... They're great tires, though.
So, did I mention this car is my wife's daily driver? LOL Its taken me awhile to get some logs and vids. I am still sorting out random issues.
Here are some logs I took today and am sending to VAST:
Here is a video of idle surging. Could this be caused by me just capping off the PCV valve portion of the f-hose and spider?
Here is a video boosting onto the highway.
At >12psi the turbos emit a scraping/grinding sound that I'm not sure is ok. Gets worse when the engine heats up. Any ideas? It may just be normal, but I've never really heard it on videos and stuff I've seen.

Avalon told me they would only install fueling kit if I bought it from them.
These rims are ST120 from Sonic Tuning. $100 each :) and already got some rash but it doesn't feel as bad LOL
Downpipes are piggies. I will upgrade them next year.
The podi gauge and the Vag-com differ, maybe because of our altitude issue (I am at 5800 ft). I guess I should believe the vag-com, which is showing the 23 psi or so.
And this whole project took 1 month to get parts in hand after ordering, and 1 month to install/fix crap I broke.

As far as a scraping sound goes I have never heard any strange noises from my FTs. If you can somehow get the noise on video I would like to hear it. Im sure its nothing to worry about
J-Fonz tuned Frankenturbo Stg III, JHM fmic, Vast stage 3 clutch,Fidenza lwfw, JHM SS/linkage, Borla exhaust, piggies, catless kittens, vogtland C/Os, full mounts, vmr v710s, some rs4 goodies ect
Looks like it spools to 20psi aprox. the same or worse than it does on OEM k04's.
With a MBC as shown audisportb5s4 (mikes) k04's spool faster
Note that I am at 5800 ft altitude, 91 Octane, 3rd gear pull on Revision 0.

2 responses from the OP, but no responses toward the questions about the ~16 psi on the gauge...... ?
LOL, yeah sorry, the video was after I turned the MBC down a tad. When I did the logs, the boost gauge read like 19 psi, and Vag-Com read 22. When I had my GIAC stage 1 tune, the boost gauge would read like 14 psi. I attribute it to the eletronic stepper on the gauge being calibrated to sea level (atmospheric pressure here is 11.8 psi instead of 14.7)

What does either gauge read when the ACC is on, but the car isn't running?

I took this before the install, but it shows the non-running reading on the gauge.
Vag-Com says 790 mBar

Nah. Still trying to find time to get my ECU flashed/revised. Still pulls like a mofo, but has some issues with stumbling every once in awhile and that noise.

Any possibility of calibrating that gauge, I am guessing you would like to know what boost pressure above actual atmosphere you are boosting, not boost pressure above sea level atmosphere.
In other words, if your gauge says you are hitting 21psi, I would guess you may actually be hitting closer to 24ish
No, a mechanical gauge will work better. Maybe I can find a trade for my stepper....

I got rid of my Podi gauge for a VEI. They are among the most accurate gauges out there... I have the high resolution gauge that reads to the tenth PSI. I love it..
What didn't you like about your Prosport? I have the exact same gauge now for over 2 years... I love it.
Nothing, great gauge, unfortunately I am at 4k ft, and the gauge was calibrated in Fla at sea level, they were not able to provide me info on how to properly recalibrate for the altitude
I think there was one more revision since I last updated. Also, I started misfiring like crazy at high boost. I got new coil packs and fixed that right up and was back to pulling like a freight train. Unfortunately, my rear end got hit, which totalled the car out. Its been in the body shop for a month now, but hopefully I get it back this week. Been driving the slow ass shop car, 2008 Cobalt. Frustratingly slow. Oh and I got a 96 Golf GTI VR6 off CL for $1500 as my new beater.

So after getting rear ended in September and having the car in the body shop for 2 months, I finally got it back, albeit salvage titled.
Before
After
Today I ordered a tranny rebuild kit from Scotty and the upgraded linkage and bushing from JHM with the tranny video. Will be pulling the motor/tranny out in the next couple of weeks to do this work. While I am in there I will inspect the turbos to see if I can see any evidence of that noise I've been hearing since day 1.

13k miles on the frankens so far. Aside from that noise I've heard from day 1, they've been great. Pull a good 25 psi every time I ask her to.
