yes, in your opinion, but I think they look sexy as hell. If I had the cash to throw at one, Id love to have one. And I bet If they were priced reasonably (and a lot cheaper than the OEM RS4 ones) than it would be a rather popular item. Im surprised that none of the big names ie. 034, EPL, AMD, VAST have not looked into making larger y-pipe options for bigger turbo cars...
I cant post the price as i dont wana be seen as a dealer and get told of by az nazi's.
Reckon if i could get 5 people at once i could get a group buy from them. Pm me if you want a price right now and ill get back to you tomorrow as my price list is at work.
I thought sdr got bought out? Why hasn't the company that bought them out started making the stuff again?

The response was that there is no performance gain from running a larger Y-pipe, so that is why no one makes an alternative. I'm pretty sure that came from 034. I would buy a reasonably price alternative.
right for everyone thats pm'd me i will get back to you asap(like 15pms on these). Normal price of the carbon ones is 795 euros. Iv emailed them to see if i can get a group buy going if theres enough interest.
Yeah, very expensive. We can get them as well, but its primarily an aesthetic item since most folks do not have the rest of the intake components to really take advantage of a larger y-pipe.
I sure would love one, but I just couldn't justify the cost. Look gorgeous though!
PS. We have no immediate plans to produce one of our own.

If you don't get an answer, contact Supersi on AudiSRS.com, he is working for LOBA in UK and he can hook you up!
You would have to be so drunk to spend 800 Euros on a CF Y-pipe IMO.
I agree... BUT.... Considering used RS4 Y-pipes go for 600+ Euro on ebay.de, I'd rather step up to the CF one in that case. But almost $1k USD for something like this... that is nutso.
I haven been in contact with Loba, emailing , Michael Knaus - LOBA Motorsport GmbH and we are talking about a group buy...NO word on pricing and shipping YET
So these before shipping with out group buy are around 1127.76 each. OEM rs4 ypipe is over 750 plus on back-order most places
Or lay carbon over your existing pipe for 50 bucks....
Stock S4 pipe flexes under load, the C/F one doesn't; it's more rigid. Contrary to all the nay-sayers about how there are no performance gains, I felt a huge improvement in throttle response when I put on my SRD ypipe.
