Because the B6 fuel system is different from a B5 setup. On the B6, the fuel pressure regulator is inside the filter, and excess fuel returns to the tank from the filter, not from a FPR at the fuel rail like the B5 and VW setup. Stock AMB injectors are 273 cc/min.
