I got my DTM bumper hardware today from genuineaudiparts.com - after i did some research, apparently that site is run by the two managers of an Audi dealership in San Diego, i bet they're making so much additional money with the site being an addition to their already current jobs. Jealousssss

@chris - let me know how the plastic dip holds up on the wheels, I might wanna turn my rims from gold to black if it doesn't blend with my car. I'm getting them tmr morning! will post pics

Haha yeah, probably will have to get slammed considering i'll be running 235/35/19 instead of good ol' 235/45/17... but thats going to have to wait for awhile, so broke now.
Last monday he said 4 weeks, but I'm going in either tomorrow or the day after so I'll see the progress and ask for a more accurate ETA

The lights have some damage on them, cracks and scratches..

I bought my vinyl from stickercity actually. UScutter and other wholesale places don't carry matte gray. Stickercity did a custom finish on the vinyl and I'm definitely paying an upcharge for that. 750 for 50ft at SC vs. 550 for 75ft from UScutter. The matte white that you guys are looking for can be ordered through UScutter though....lucky.

Johnny: I thought you got the car back and put the wheels on based off that picture you posted. It looks really good. I'm on my phone though so maybe that's why it looks real.

Yeah it's way cleaner in person and it's still got a great fit n finish after sitting for a while. The guy hit a deer and got sketched out and didnt wanna deal with fixing it....idiot.... Swapped the hoods out already with one that he gave me with the car and im already hunting for parts. All in all I seriously got the upper hand out of it, lol I just need a front bumper and a left front fender and it's PERFECT!! Big ass turbo on the way soon also. Gt30 = almost 20lbs psi..... Can't wait to do that with a shaggin wagon

Oh shit, you got a gt30 haha. Are you going to chip it as well? Or will you need to replace the injectors and etc to accommodate for the added boost?

I would assume he's going to get tuned by a shop, custom tune.

For shizzle, if the planets align and I can get this thing cheap enough. I drove a bored over 1.8 (1.9 with a full stg 3 build... And sleeves) and it was the fastest thing I've driven so far. 379 awhp is no joke

378 cc Bosch race injectors (ttrs225) are on the list and 034 will do the tune. Or 2bennett, they've been pretty chill

Stock is at like 8.5:1 compression, I think it'll have to be around 6:1 for where I want the boost to top at 21lbs. Its a pretty easy and straightforward build I just gotta raise funds. I'm gonna build it exactly the way the first one I drove was, bulletproof... :)

Just brought the wheels into the shop and damn, the car progressed so much compared to last monday!

The new doors are all finished painting and are installed, the fender is installed, most of the stuff that was bent is repaired.
He said the car is coming off the lift tomorrow with the new wheels realigned and balanced (to see if there is any suspension damages)

If the DTM bumper comes in early this week, then the car would/should be done by the end of the week. So my guess is, if it comes later in the week, then it'll be done next week.
Just gotta hope the bumper comes in ASAP, this way I can join in on the next meet.
