This is a thread about my first car/audi. I bought a b5 a4 avant on 3-3-11. It has a 1.8tqm and was sold to me and it needed a clutch. Here is my car...

I have no clue but it came out real nice i can post a pic of the engine compartment to show the difference i just don't have any pic's of the interior.

Good choice on the car OP, looks like a winner for $1500, very clean.
New clutch today also looking for sport springs, hid, and looking to do some diy's. The diy's to come will be, clear corner mod, painting valances and stock door trim silver, fog lights, and dairintake. I also think i'm getting monoblocks VI soon.
Congrats on the new car, and welcome to the wonderful world of Avants! I had a B5 very similar to this, but it was totalled before I ever had a chance to mod it. Sounds like you have a well laid out plan--have fun!

Very Nice! I'll have to send some pics of mine as I get further along. You might want to do a speaker box in the side (where the OEM "sub" is), and I can show you how to get 6.5" speakers in the doors up front for a much better soundstage. Mine came with a Tiptronic, so I had to swap the 5spd manual in myself. I just got the DTS put on and the Rear Diff Mount from Apikol (which I think is coming off), and I'm working on the exhaust now, then I'll tackle the engine. I've been thinking about the black top as well. I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

Im not really looking for a sound system, the bose is good enough. I would like to get exhaust, epl tune then some k04's. I don't plan on keeping the car too too long i just want it to have fun with until i get a s4.
Thank nick, i am planing on painting me valances, and lower moldings this weekend if i have the money and if it is nice. When i say paint low moldings, i am removing the part that always falls off, getting rid of the clips and such, then i am painting everything else silver.
Last night and today i installed my hid's and did air box mod. First thing is, i love my air box mod, Best free mod! Also i am enjoying the ability to drive at night. Who ever said Hid's in non projector housing don't work, they are wrong. I aimed mine and have not had one person flash me yet. I will get depos eventually but the stock 2 piece are working decently. I have 3 picture, the 1st is HID's agents garage, 2nd is picture of the front of my car with just bulbs, 3rd is a picture of my car with HIDs.
My st's came in and i don't know what to think, the papers say its for a v6 s4 wagon, is this the same with them all? Also my brakes are all sorts of fucked up, i have warped rotors, which have pads rubbing agents them. Damn my life. At least now i have a reason for new rotors and pads given i fix my problem of my brakes staying on. I will post pictures of my st's later, i need to find time to fix my brakes and install my st's.

The HID's will technically work in the Non-projector housings, but just cause no one has flashed you yet doesn't mean anything.
The pictures you posted prove the point, look at all the glare from the HIDs.. I say put the Halogens back in 'til you get Projectors.
Idk, i don't think i will be driving for a while so i will probably just leave them in, still nothing about flashing or anything, i have them aimed down real low.
