It has been a year since I replaced my FSI HPFP cam follower.

I was wondering if some of you ppl want to get together and do the cam follower check DIY. Checking the cam follower in our motors is vary important and may prevent some serious damage to the engine in the future.

I have most of the tools and vag-com and links for DIY but I am lacking a set of balls and a warm place.

For now reply to this thread if you want in, and what you have to offer (tools, garage, experience…).

There is also a DIY for changing the tranny fluid for the tiptronic gear box. We could get this done as the same time too.

I need a warm place and a hand to remove my front bumper. Is ther anyone out there in the GTA that can offer their services? I will pay cash or buy some wobbly pops.

I replaced mine a few months ago. I spent forever trying to fix a 12point/triplehex-bit (which I never did find) until I realized I didn't need one. I didn't remove my front bumper and the whole thing took me about 40 minutes. I'm willing to provide a hand, and vagcom, my open-concept garage (aka my backyard) and any tools you might need except for that freaking 12-point-bit.
