I'm officially back in building my old rolling chassis this time with the help of a few partners...

Goal: 9.73 at 146+ mph to reclaim the fastest V6 audi in America. No offense USP, your car is badass

Stock gears sholuld be fine if I compare to setup I ran previous.

The extra top end power the 6765 will generate will be awesome on the taller 4th gear

Block strength, and can use 81.5 OTS pistons? Lots of people doing 2.9L.

The USP is in upper 700 area I think. I like the USP car for the swap and ease but I think I would rather see what the v6 can do. Good luck to guru.

Block strength, and can use 81.5 OTS pistons? Lots of people doing 2.9L.

stock pistons are 81mm. 81.5mm are overbore pistons for people with funky walls. You could use the stock pistons but you would have to change the rod length to use a 3.0 crank.

I agree that it will add strength and would be good for an all out build with nitrous, etc. but I have never heard of anyone warping a cylinder wall with the 1.8, 2.7, or 2.8 regardless of overbore.
