For installation, this guide helped a lot. http://www.f1computers.force9.co.uk/...%20in%20A4.pdf
1. Getting the deck out is extremely easy. Use the four keys that came with your new kit, insert them all into the correct locations and pull. The deck should release freely. Disconnect the factory harness and set to the side.
2. Next i removed the glove box, there were 10 8mm screws then you can just pull down and out. Make sure you disconnect the MAIN wiring harness at the back, then set on a blanket or piece of cardboard to keep from getting scratched/damaged.
3. I removed the driver side panel as well, There are 3 screws on this one, one inside the panel fuse box and two on the bottom of the panel. You must disconnect the VAG and the light on this one. Then you can pull out and set to the side. I ran the GPS wire under the dash and to the middle of the dash just below the windshield for a better reception. You can really put it anywhere you would like. If you plan on doing this on the passenger side it's really not needed to remove this. But I am going to have all sorts of wires for my ipod, rca's for an amp and backup camera cables on that side as well.
4. Be sure you have the right harness, mine came with two diff. ones, guessing one was for an older model. Set aside as it is not needed. Everything is plug and play from there. The radio ant wires were a bit tricky though. You must remove the factory connections from the plastic clip, on each side there are pink plastic connectors that slide out. Remove these and then un-clip the metal receptors. Plug in the new one's from the harness and wrap with electrical tape, for one to hold them in place and two so they can be safe from touching a power wire and burning something up or worse.
5. With the glove box removed, it is much easier to re-install the Navigation deck. You can help guide the wires out of the way so that the deck can "click" back in securely. I pulled my aux wires at this time to the side and zip tied them so it will be easy to access when needed, ex. when I go to install the amp and backup cam I am still waiting for. Of course power up everything to make sure it is installed correctly.
6. Install the panels in reverse order and your good to go!
Navigation Installed, took about 30 minutes.

Present from the UPS guy!

Should have this in about a week, taking out one of the factory "fake" buttons on the dash and installing my own home link. More to come on this later.

Coil Overs!
Well I installed my ST Coil Overs last night, pretty straight forward install and these things are great! The front left collar nut did get cross threaded and I am currently only sitting on about 5 threads, but I am sure that Glen over at AMI will get this taken care of from me. Despite the front left being quite a bit lower than the other sides, these things ride very well. No bouncy suspension feel, I do feel all the big bumps in the road but with a lowered car it just comes with the territory.
Slammed all the way down..

Front Slammed.. I couldn't even turn my tires!

Naw, I set it more even but I am going to keep the hight where it's at. I would have to set a negative camber to avoid rubbing if I went any lower.

Mock wired these up.. What do you guys think? Ditch the fogs and keep these? Both would be overkill....

Love everything but the black interior trim. I thought the silver trim complimented the beige interior much better.

Thanks guys, it's hard to stop once you get going...
I really wasn't a fan of the silver, whenever the sun would hit it. It would blind the hell outta me, which was happening all the time. Really wanted to do woodgrain but spending 300 bucks + wasn't too appealing for a whole new kit. Much happier with the new phantom black interior now.

Just had GoodSpeed Performance update me to my APR Stage II flash. After driving it for a bit you can def tell that it optimizes everything much better. Anyone who doesn't have a flash is missing out on the power your car can make!

Thanks mayn, first Audi is for getting a feel of what I like. Next after this one will be an S4 with TONS o' Power!!
Just can't justify $6,000 for a big turbo setup on the 2.0 with an Auto Trans. Might as well sell the car and get an S4 and start from there.

Got my Depo headlights in, the quality is OK.. But for $200 bucks for the set I couldn't resist. Will be another week before I have installed pictures, leaving on vacation tomorrow. Here is some pic's though!
BTW the saran wrap is still on the cover, that's why there are horizontal lines.

I thought about them when i first got my car a few months back. Got a lot of bashing for them without any info or pics from people who have actually had them. Thanks for buying them and reviewing them!!!

Ha thanks man, If no one tried anything new then all of our cars would look the same... I love them so far, most of the people bashing are just jumping on the bandwagon for kicks. Ahhh the internet.
I have only heard of two people with them so far, besides me now. The two of us love them and the other kid said he had nothing but problems.
