Well it's been quite a while since I have posted.. Only a couple updates!
Had my 35k service done...
CV boot tore and I had to replace that... No more pic's since I was covered in grease but let me tell you it is not a fun task to do... But for $30 bucks and 4 hours it wasn't too bad considering!
My seat backs started to fall off, most likely from AZ being hot as hell and melting the adhesive.
Sooo... I used some JB Weld and clamps and took care of that little problem. Been a week so we will see how that holds up...
Removed the DOPE Emblem quite a while back.... Gotta learn some how!
Definitely looks better with the stock grille and the depos. At first, I didnt love the mods you had done, but its really taken a step in the right direction! Good work!
I was really considering powder coating the wheels white and then doing the mirror caps white as well... But don't think it would look as clean as the way it sits now.
Take advantage of the APR 100 OCT File? I think so!
I've always wanted to do this. Very hard to find 100 octane where I live.
How was it?!
APR 93 oct. Stage II; 034 High Flow Cat; Custom dual 2.75'' exhaust with Magnaflow 14816 mufflers, Servotronic Fuse pulled; Cupra R Lip; and the oh so stereotypical Euro plate and THULE roof rack
Really nice looking ride. Just got my first B7 not too long ago and stocking up on mods. What's the exact rims you have on there. I see they are audi, I think? And where you pick em up?
They are the RS6 Reps, I got them off Ebay from this guy -http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/19-AUDI-RS6-RS4-A6-A8-A4-A5-S5-VOLKSWAGON-WHEELS-RIMS-/110747654668?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &hash=item19c9131a0c
If your not going to slam it then these are fine, I have 235 tires and I still rub every once in a while with the height I am at.
Well I busted my outer boot.... Have a buddy who got me an Audi Remand axle for $150 so I decided just to replace the whole thing. Looks like great quality but I guess time will tell!
Well I have had this for installed for a while now but just forgot to update. BSH delete. My PCV went bad and I was leaking oil from the cap due to negative pressure, so picked this up. Wanted to do a catch can, was tight for money though so got this. I will most likely drill and tap this at a later date and add a catch can.
It looks awesome! love the cardinals plate! How expensive was the apr stage 2?
Thanks man! The total was as follows.
2.5" Test Pipe - $65 from a forum member brand new.
Magnaflow DP Back - $565 if I remember correctly.
Tune - $670 with all programs minus Valet during the spring sale.
So Total of - $1,305 since I did all the work myself as well. I DO still have the stock Down Pipe installed though, I am sure I can squeeze some more HP out when I replace it.

Much appreciated Sir. Keep watching, in the next couple weeks I have something else getting installed as soon as I receive it! Nothing crazy, but will add a nice little touch.
Was bored and put the bulbs back in for one of the halo rings... Thoughts? They actually have more of a blue tint to them. Couldn't really get it with the iPhone.
In looking around there was not that many install guides, especially showing where to wire everything too. Here is the steeps I took to install my gauge. If it helps one person, that's enough for me.
NOTE - You need a Torx Size 8 Screw Driver to take off the steering wheel cover, I found mine at Sears and you can buy the individual one for less than 5 bucks.
I decided to paint my Podi and Bottom cover Black since I have a Beige interior. I was not sure if I would like it so I used the remainder of the can of Plasti-dip from Another project to see. These were freshly sprayed.
Start by taking the kick panel off, it will need to come off anyways and will give you more room to work. Remove the fuse cover and the following bolts with a 8mm ratchet wrench.
Use the T-8 Screw Driver to remove the bolts here on both sides -
There is an additional T-25 Bolt on the bottom that must be removed as well -
Once all that is out of the way, move to the engine bay -
I drilled a small hole through the fire wall and pulled the wiring for the Sender through -
Instead of running the wiring through the ECU box I used this grommet behind the fire wall next to the brake booster, I drilled a hole through the grommet so I could re-seal the opening -
I used 3M double sided tape too secure the Boost Gauge Sender Unit, I found a bolt in the engine bay to slip the opening over to help it stay in place better. You can decide where you would like to mount yours -
My Location -
Next you want to install the Boost Tap. Remove the Factory Plug and install it here and run the vacuum line to your sender unit -
With that completed, I moved back into the wiring. On the left hand side of the steering wheel locate the thick black wire. This will be your 12V Ignition wire. I cut some of the rubber away to expose the wire. Wrapped the 12V Red Wire from the sender and then the 12V Red Wire from the Gauge. I soldered the connection to make sure it would stay in place and then wrapped in electrical tape. Use your multi-meter to Identify by turning the key from the off position to on, while on you will receive 12V.
For the CONSTANT 12V to the battery, I used this Red Wire. I repeated the same method as above and wrapped in electrical tape. Use your multi-meter to Identify. This will always have 12V regardless if the vehicle is running.
Once that is completed, wire the Orange Wire from the Boost Gauge to the White Wire on the pig tail of the Sender Unit Wiring, the Brown and the Green have NO function. They can either be cut, or you can do like I did and fold them back and wrap with electrical tape against the wiring harness.
Re-install in reverse order, but don't forget to test your gauge first! Enjoy you new set up!
Just read the thread from the beginning looks like it's doing very well. I love the matte black trim opposed to the glossy. And the wheel set up is mint keep up the good work! In the last page I didn't know they made led city lights, I have to try and find some for my car if they have em now.

Hey thanks man, the LED is actually a strip from a site called oznium.com... I will eventually abandon it for a cleaner looking LED, but for now they are staying.
I was actually referring to the city lights inside your headlights but those strips look good too
Ah gotcha, they are from ECS. They are actually pretty nice, but with the depo headlights they have the angel eyes instead of the city lights.
I still have the pair if they fit your car, used them for less than a week. If the part # from the B7 too your car matches I will sell them to you for less than ECS would,
