I already own the license plate LEDs and noticed that one of them was off driving home last night. I checked today and turns out the wire leads has disconnected. The bad part is that the wire is gone inside the trunk somewhere... Do I have to take apart the trunk to fish out the wire? Anyone run into this issue before?

Started to install my set today. I opted for the optional door LEDs. Looks like I may have to swap positive and negative wires on the door lights to get the LED pointed correctly. Is this normal?

Also, looks like one of the 194 type LED only has 2 of the 4 LEDS that work. Not sure if this can be fixed.

Yeah, I just got my kit also - one of the festoon bulbs for the dome light doesn't work at all. Seeing if I can get a replacement. Regarding your door lights, I opted for those also - you can swap positive/negative - it doesn't matter...

I emailed Gregg, cause on 2 of the "bulbs" I received only 2 of the 4 LEDs worked. Hes sending replacements. I had to work the contacts a little to get the other 2 "bulbs" to work.

You were right! The contacts of the socket needed to be adjusted a little to make contact with the LEDs contact. Got all of them installed today. Very happy with the result.

Install went fine and they look great. Had to hunt down the Torx bit. Have bikes and my room mate doesn't like to put tools back in the right place.

Are the license plate ones super bright like they Pyspeed ones? I don't want to light up everything behind me, I just want something that is clean and not going to light up the whole road back there.

they are not as bright as those, for that reason. they light up your plate not the entire road behind you

Installed my whole interior set last night. These are remarkably bright and look awesome. Only issue I had was the front reading lights didnt work. I swapped the bulbs with the ones that worked in the rear and still didnt work in the front. Put the stock bulbs back in and they worked fine. Any ideas?

I experienced the same, my front reading lights doesnt work while only one bulb for the rears worked. Also swapped back to OEM bulb.

I am satisfied with the map lights thought. They are really bright.

Greg any remedy for the reading lights LED wedges???

look at the little metal legs that are on the LED body. Make sure that they are contacting with the metal in the bulb socket on the car. This is what usually causes this problem.

Yup, twisted them left and right and nothing. They worked fine in the rear reading lights but not in the front ones.

Installed the USP LEDs in the 3 lights in my Avant trunk and they are great. The garage in my CT house is dark (yes, I know I could fix that, too) and the major problem with the new car, so far, was the poor illumination in the trunk. This is a big improvement.

Re installed front reading lights by removing entire assembly. Finesta101 posted a great tip to remove the entire light console by unscrewing a screw in sun-glass holder, exposing the bulb sockets. From there it was simply plug in LED into socket, making sure bulb metal legs touches the bulb socket!! Overall very satisfied with the LED kit for the value and brightness! Now i wished i ordered the vanity mirror bulbs too hahahah.

that does work too. either way you just need to make sure those little metal legs make contact with the bulb socket
