These are easily the best looking iPhone case you can buy in my opinion. You can't even get these from Element anymore because of the demand (unless you're willing to wait a few months for it).

Thanks Winston, I love the case! For what its worth, I dont think my iPhone has dropped a call since I installed it. On the other hand, the GPS doesnt track my location quite as well as it did before. Worth it though, its close enough.

take a picture of it in your hand. i want to see how bulky it is. also what colour did you get?
I have no issues with reception and my GPS was never spot on anyway when the case was off.
The case itself is not that bulky at all, I would say it is 25% bigger than the Apple jellybean bumper and the thickest parts would be at the two corners where the screws attach.

honestly i could give a shit less about a phone case, i've found on almost all the phones i've ever owned that the case is all but useless and in fact scratches the phone more than not having one at all. bought a nice case for my iphone when i first got it, took the case off after a month or two and it was scratched all to shit. other phones, generally the same thing. oh and if you think the case is going to really protect the phone from a damaging impact (something worse than a 3-5 foot fall off the table/couch), then you're bat shit crazy. i've dropped my iphone a shit load of times, on concrete, on wood floors, etc, with and without the case and i havent noticed any advantage to having the case.
its all personal opinion and feel, some people like having attractive cases on their phones, others dont. there's about a million other things i'd put $80 towards than a phone case, but thats just me. not trying to dissuade anyone from jumping on this group buy, just giving my opinion.

Some people want a quality product and will pay for it, others prefer to buy a cheaper product and will pay for it.
It is like comparing a Bentley to a Toyota Corolla, they both do the same job so why is there such a price 'ridiculous' price attached to the Bentley?

While some cases aren't going to protect the phone from falls others will. A case like the vapor wont as the metal will just transfer the energy from the fall to the phone but silicon cases like mine most certainly help. I have dropped it many times from 3 feet and higher and its fine, no cracks. My friend dropped his caseless iphone 4 the day he got it from 3 feet and the whole back shattered.
Cases, depending on the kind you get can help. Also, the scratching is from poor design of the case. A well designed case wont scratch the phone.Plus glass is very very scratch resistant, and the iPhone 4 uses coring gorilla glass which is even tougher.

The vapor case is sick, iv got a friend with one and it looks/feels bad ass
Also it is rubber lined where it contacts the phone, so it fits snugly, and should theoretically act as cushioning
+1 on the zegg invizisheild. I had one on for a while and it was great. Best protection and good application process led to no bubbles.
Im not looking to spend $80 right now, and I hate the jelly cases, so I'm going to stay caseless for now
