After owning the car for over 3 years it's time to properly introduce it...

I've had this car for quite some time now, but I had to wait until the CPO warranty expired before jumping down the slippery slope... The past few months have been pretty busy for me with engine, brake, suspension, wheel, and interior improvements. Happy to say I'm almost done, just looking for a K04 now to complete the power upgrades. And maybe get a set of B6/7 S4 seats. And... And...

I have a 2004 Silver Avant but with the S4 Front and Rear bumpers. I have blackout my grills and it look great... it's a great mod to all that have silver A4's....
My wheels are the oem RS6, but in 18'.

The door blades are OEM S4. The going rate is around $500 IIRC. The bulbs are stock. I put 3M yellow film on the lenses.

I really like what you have done. Does it feel a lot faster? I'm thinking of going K04 also instead of some big turbo

Thank you. K04 + 225TT injectors + TyrolSport SMIC + Unitronic Stage II+ tune made it significantly faster. Unitronic's website claims 265hp and almost 300tq. Not sure if that's what I'm getting but I'm happy with the result. A K04 spools faster than a big turbo and gives you more usable torque in the lower RPM and very little lag. That's what I was after. Being that this is my family car and I rarely go over 4K RPM, a big turbo would've been a waste for my needs.

Did you have the shift buttons on your wheel from the factory? I just bought the same wheel you have but it seems i need a new clockspring since i didnt have shift buttons on my wheel from the factory. I am trying to figure out what i need to swap out to make this thing work.

The wheel came off a MkI TT with DSG. It was reupholstered by CarsDream in Poland. I reused the stock airbag.

Yes, my original steering wheel had the Tip buttons and wiring this one was pretty easy. I don't know if all you need is a clockspring or a wiring harness that comes from the shifter box as well...

How much did they charge you for each wheel? How quick is the turn around?

It is the correct site - http://leatherinteriors.carsdream.com/. It was about $260 altogether including shipping both ways from NYC. As far as how long it takes it varies mostly due to shipping. Their turnaround is pretty quick.
