    Fog Light Wattage question

    Hey guys - Im going to be ordering some yellow fog lights again (hit a deer a few weeks ago and now need some new ones again) and am wondering if anyone has tried or used 80 watts instead of 55 watts and had any trouble with the wire harness or anything..... Would there be a big difference in brightness as well??

    I've heard they run a bit hotter and risk melting the housing. Not worth it, IMO.

    correct... housings are only rated for 55watt halogen bulbs...

    you can do 35watt HID's if you want... those run about the same temperature and throw a bit more light.
