Like I said, I selected the mv-r when I had the 30r and no plans for high boost. I'm not changing it now as the manifold and reroute were made for the mv-r. Shayne's running the mv-s, look at his manifold and reroute and you will see the difference.

I have a motox pit board hanging on the wall full of things, big and small. I may work on it today. But I leave for Miami Friday to go on another 7 night cruise starting Saturday. So I prob won't be focused on the car for a while.

I agree. I've never understood why people get a turbo they can run 30+ psi on and run a big wastegate. With a large turbo it should become easier to run lower boost just by throttle control and shifting earlier.

Well the down side to running a 38mm and low boost is boost creep at higher rpm's.

Yes, I totally understand this. But from a design to goal aspect, is anyone seriously running a 30-series or large turbo and not running 20psi or more on a 2L or smaller motor? Lets not even bring up some ricer/honda kid's setups.

It depends. The early MV series have no provisions for coolant.

I have an early MV-S and there are no provisions for coolant. Look at the top cap and see what it says.

Yeah, higher CR motors like the honda's and miata's don't need to run so much boost as we do to make the same or more power.

What kind of loan are you getting? FHA's are only 3.7% down and you could get in a $150k home for as low as $5300. Closing cost can run up to $8k but with the market you can figure out some buyers help.

I changed jobs, and took a temporary pay cut (need to pass on more test to be back on the same scale), but now I have been restricted to 40hr/week. I also have some have extra expenses now like a storage unit for my other car etc. I also paid off my car and all but one small student loan while obviously sparing little to nothing on my build to date (which is all paid for).

So the nest egg has shrunk, and so has the money flow to rehabilitate it for the time being.

Take it all in. I took some time off from funding the build and focused on the house fund. Took me a bit of time but I ended up keeping both. Trust me, I thought about selling the car but I knew I would kick myself later. Even my GF, the devils advocate to my build, told me to keep it. I would try and figure if its feasible. You will never come by a build quite like yours.
