PA Winter mode (Pics/BAT content)

Here's what my winter mode is starting to look like....

Supertech alloy intake & inconel exhaust valves (+1mm), Supertech valve springs

Garrett GT3076R

Tial stainless Vband turbine housing

AEB manifold and 70mm TB

IE 19mm drop in rods

1552 FMIC- 2.5" hot side, Tial 50mm BOV, Garrett core, 3" cold side

Oh yea, I'm having a garage sale too....BT 71R Elim part out

17584. No I don't have the tool for the springs yet. The head was a freebie because it has bent valves (TB snapped). Once it's stripped down I'm dropping it off at the machine shop to cut the valve seats (+1mm).

what injectors and fuel pump? and I would strongly suggest Maestro, for obvious reasons.

Yea that's me if it's area code 717-940-xxxx. I'd like to go Maestro (obvious reasons) but if I may get it on the road with a cheaper Uni reflash for now, then send my space ecu off to Chris for a base file.

Fuel set up, I'm thinking Seimens 80lbs/870cc and perhaps a 044 pump. Something I can take to the high 20'psi

I'm running those injectors and a 044 pump, and I so far I've ran 27psi on my 5857 and it still wasnt going lean, and this is on the stock fuel system.

. This "build" isn't exactly uncharted territory but its good to know I shouldn't have an issue with fueling with that set up. Is there a trick to fitting the 044 in tank? Since it "doesn't fit"...

nope, basic stuff, that makes it nice because parts aren't special order

Don't need an 044 pump for a 30R.

I'm running a drop-in 040 pump with the stock fuel system and Siemens 875s. No issues and no signs of fuel starvation.

Thanks for the info Doug. Truthfully I haven't done all too much research on fueling needs for the 30r yet as far as pumps go. What are the pros/cons to running 040 instead of the 044?

Get the car together and running first. Then, when you go to finalize the tune, spend some time figuring out fueling.

Honestly, on a 30R. Its been done. All you need are injectors large enough to provide enough fuel (875s work great) and a fuel pump that can flow enough fuel.
