The S4 Platinum is much nicer (IMO).

I'd like my interior to look like this.

I did see a black armrest in the classifieds. That could be the start! If I could find a black center console for a reasonable price, I'd be all about it.

I think what does it is the black carpets. All silver is too much. Black carpet/doors with silver seats just does it. I want to say I've seen it with an all black interior (headliner included) with silver seats, but I may just be imagining things.

I'd like a black carpet. It's too bad the carpet is a pain in the ass to remove. Might as well swap seats at the same time, not that I am in the market for new seats (financially).

Where could I find a black carpet for a reasonable price? Could be a good start.

that's how my B5 was. white on black. loved it. Audi really dropped the ball on white A4 interiors on the A4. I miss the light seats, black leather in the summer on my B6 is SO HOT!

She sure cleans up nice. I know they are about the most overplayed wheel in the history of time but the style is so clean. I like how the black rings tie them in to the rest of the car.

So [Josh],
I bought an XBox yesterday. I already hate it.

You need a gold membership to use Netflix. You get a code for a free month of gold access and when you try and redeem it, you get a code for a billing error. The disc drive is ridiculously loud (my old Xbox, which is at least 8 years old, makes as much noise as this thing). It takes an hour to set the stupid thing up.

I'm returning it. It is a pain in the ass, it is loud and I hate the Xbox network. I don't online game, I don't need a gold membership just to access a network to watch movies, but Microsoft feels I do. $60 a year for that when I could just get a PS3 for $50 more at a one time fee and be done with it.

I'll keep my old Xbox to play games when I might feel like it, my DVD player to watch movies when I want and I'm buying an Apple TV. Fuck these game consoles (for now...I'll get a PS3 later, when I actually feel the need).

Why is PlastiDip such a pain to get off? I removed my grille surround to redo it and it sucks trying to get the old stuff off.

I want the rear of my car lower. It seems the only [feasible] solution is to replace the springs. From what I recently read, I could swap with Eibachs or Hyperco. The question is, which springs would I use? I've got the ST coils and the front is fine, I just want the rear lower than it is.

Any thoughts? Suggestions?

I have had that pic for forever. By far my favorite e30. The color is incredible. And for some reason I actually quite like the yellow lights. And those wheels are perfect on that car. I normally hate BBS, but every once in a while there is no more perfect wheel for a car. This..... is one of those times. There is nothing I would change on that car.... other than the name on the title.

You're silly. I absolutely love BBS wheels. I'd kill for a set of Style 5s in 18 (or better, 19s), but it's hard to come by anything other than 17s for a reasonable price. My buddy has a set of 17s on his avant and I really like how they look, but 17s are just too small for me.

I'd still like some Prima Donna Super RS'.

I found a few threads on hacking apart the interior. It's a bit of work, but seems very worth it in the end.

Otherwise I found some black interior pieces to source. This would make me happy and I won't mind keeping my platinum seats.

yeah mine have about a half a season left in them, depending on how much I ride, but being from Ohio that's not too much. That'd put me at about 2.5 years.

nice! That will be my goal when we put a new motor in the Camaro. Speaking of which, my dad was supposed to start pulling up the carpet to replace the floorboards this week.
