Where did you go to college, Oberlin?
My Camaro doesn't have t-tops.
Mine started out Gun Metal, and was painted red for my 20th birthday. No T top either.

I was talking about the second set. What the fuck are you supposed to do with those things? They're all over the place.

Yes sir. I was actually accepted for it somehow lol. Whatever I don't care that my car isn't as wild as most of the cars there but what I have learned is that car shows attract awesome people and I met some cool people and had a great time. That jag is fucking insane I wish I had the balls to run 20's and I would run those.

Flame on Winter Mode friends...
Attempting to install a Podi Mechanical Gauge. Man, for the price Podi charges... not good. The plastic T-Fitting isn't the best (plan on buying a better one), the boost gauge itself is cheap, they don't include a parts breakdown in the box and no written instructions. The mini Air Filter doesn't even fit on the vaccum line provided in my box, so what's the point of including it? The instructions on their "installation" section of the website, I assume is half Podi's writing and the other half is A4mods.com. Which only go as far as tapping the vaccum line and nothing about running ground/power wires all the way through to the final step of completing the installation. The only way I have found a complete DIY on a boost gauge install is by using parts of A4mods, "Electronic Stepper Motor Gauge Install" and Podi's website directions. For the price of $119, you would think they'd atleast include a long handle T8 (as this is a size MOST normal people don't have, my long handle torx kit only goes as small as T-10, which that is even rare for people to own) to get the job done.
Looks like I have to give them a buzz tomorrow.

I definitely don't remember having many, if any, problems when I installed my ESM gauge. With how meticulate you care for your car, I'm surprised you went mechanical instead of electronic.

Brian.... i'm only flashed Revo Stage 1.... just wanted a simple gauge to make sure the car is running fine. Their is just no clear directions on what to do with all the wires given in the kit. With the mechanical, all I can see actually using is the power/ground wire but no instructions on where to install them. All the DIY's are for the more complicated Electronic Stepper gauges.

Not sure... I've probably broken the forum rules a few times and have gotten a free pass, but recent crack Downs seem to only be about street racing.
I don't street race but seems if your going to post about it then you just need to change your story to be at a "track" instead of "street " to avoid lockage.

Lol I don't think I'll be at any events for some time, I need to get my front bumper fixed. Insurance guy is coming out tomorrow to assess the damage. I've decided that if the repairs are going to cost more than $1000 I will go through with it, because otherwise I don't see the point in paying $500 in repairs that are only going to cost a total of something like $650.

Patching up the floorboards. We got an entire underbody assembly that is near mint. My dad is taking out some of the real shitty spots and welding in new floorboards.

^ Just watched that. It's cool and all, but doesn't seem all that different from his other 4 Gymkhana videos. I often wonder how many times he has to practice these runs before filming them - must be a bitch to do that in the middle of a big city. Especially tourist areas like Lombard Street.

Not a big fan of purple. I feel like wild colors are hard to pull off on a big car like ours. I think it is much easier to go wild with a small 2 door like that since it isn't such an overwhelming amount of it.

I think wild colors can work, but it needs to be part of the entire package. The car needs to be fairly aggressive.
Just found this randomly

I think that's one of the exclusive colors you can order. I really like that color.
Lighter or darker purple? Hmmm....

The Audi Exclusive colors are the best. If we ever buy a factory new Audi (which seems unlikely), it will be an exclusive color of some sort.
And Dark Purple > Light purple all day every day

I probably will. I think I'd do an S4 bumper before I'd do a USP. Which is worth more?
