What girlfriend? JK! Looks good TJ. When are you coming anyways Tu?
Who knows at this point, BraceFaceJace...I try not to plan too far into the future. It's looking probably like March or April.

Burton teamed up with Nitraid, a Japanese design group to utilize their "Realweed" print (sort of like realtree camo but with some sticky nugs instead of some sticks and leaves) on their high-end AK 3L jacket and pant. These are über limited edition with only a couple hundred pair hitting the shelves.
haha that jussi jacket is pimp, but yea i know about the nitraid stuff because its my jacket haha
i have the pants and binding straps too
From the picture size I wasn't sure if you found that on eBay or what. I know there is a lot of bogus Burton outerwear, especially AK stuff, that pops up on there all the time.
The Jussi jacket is the only Burton piece I have kept. I like it, a lot. My only complaint is that the material is quite stiff so when you zip it up it gets hard to breath.
how do you like the rome rocker boards? the libtech is sweet and the magnatraction makes riding in the east a whole lot easier. have you ever road a split tail on powder before?
I love my Dragon and Ronin gear, Jackson is on the list too, one day. Wheels look sick as well, keep up the good work.

No goggles protect these purdy blues other than Oakleys. Granted Dragon was at one stage produced by Oakley, hence why a lot of their lenses are similar and they are dual layer.
That looks sick, I meant my Burton Dragon, but yes they are Dragon gogles as well. Last trip was Whistler and that was craziest I've ever seen, besides Jay Peak in VT. CO will come either this year or next.

Oh yeah, my Nitro Haze just came in a couple of days ago. Time to learn how to jib.

I had a feeling that was Whistler from the red gondola, but I was confused. When I rode Blackcomb I recall the gondola being white cars, can't recall what Whitler's cars were, but I know the new Peak to Peak is red.
You still have a Dragon that's intact? The Dragonfly core was such a hit or miss core; I remember most of those snapping in half.
Someone knows how to keep it on track. They are 235/45/17s. I wanted to run 225s or even 215s, but I got the 235s for cheap. Narrower is better in snow.

wow, for $200, id be rocking back alley specials too. good call.
Studded version too. I'm actually looking forward to driving in the snow this winter (I've always rocked all season, these are my first dedicated snow tires).
with all this talk in this thread of Snowoards.............. I need a new one this year. Something like the RIDE TIMELESS. I ride a 164cm. Looking for something like it and about a 161 -164 . Thanks!
Your looking for 161-164? Please tell me you only ride BC then.
And I would stay away from Ride. Something about K2 just, sucks.
Look into Lib-tech. Which board depends on the kind of rider you are. But considering your from the NE, magna-traction will be great for you. Also, the C2 banana tech is the shit.
I would look at the TRS, its a good all around board.
ROME. This thread must have plugs for the Rome boards.
Anyhow, I have a buddy in SLC that tests products for Ride. I'm with Josh on the K2 thing (I really don't like the company), but they do make solid products. However, I stick to snowboard companies (not conglomerates that make skis, canoes, camping equipment, etc etc.).
My suggestion, of course, is the Rome Anthem. Great all around board. I rode the Anthem for a long time and loved it. Set back stance for those pow days, good amount of sidecut for solid edge hold, solid flex for freeriding (it's stiff, but not pipe board stiff), sintered base for speed, etc. If I was to go with an all around board it would be this...unless you really want to spend money, then go with the Anthem SS; why? Because it's hybrid camber. When you load it the board presses out to reverse camber giving you more float, but it doesn't get as squirrely like most rocker boards, so no need to worry about edge wash. I hooked a buddy up with one last year and he says that it is without a doubt the best board he has ever ridden. It's a pretty penny compared to the other boards in the line, but worth it if you want something to keep for a few years.
Personally, I'm all about the Agent Rocker this year.
Rome makes good stuff as well. It comes down to brand loyalty at this point pretty much. Alot of the small companies make awesome boards now days. Most of us in the scene choose to stay away from the big guys like Burton, K2 and Nike on principal and the fact that their crap is directed at people who think the biggest names and the biggest price tag is the best.
I would demo boards before you buy them. Or tell us what you ride and we will spend your money for you.

Honestly, it's hard to find a shitty board these days. Almost all companies make at least decent product. I ride Rome because of loyalty; been on their product since the year they came out and they take care of me.
I ignore the big brands on principle, but Burton for many reasons; mainly because they are crooks (most of their products are ripped off, ie SpeedZone, the ICS channel, the old 2x system, etc) and they are notirious for forcing consumers to buy their products only (3d, ICS/EST). Not to mention most of their product is way overpriced and never any better than cheaper product from other brands.
And I dislike CAPiTA because Johan is a royal fucking douche.
It's tough to be as douchey as Jake Burton. The guy is a flat out prick.
But regardless.
There is so much. I acutally was checking out a "yes" board the other day. It was so flexy. I just don't know if I can ride anything not rocker anymore after riding bananas (no pun intended) for the past 3 or 4 years.

Can't say I've ever met Jake.
I've heard good things about "Yes". I personally like having both positive camber and reverse in my quiver. There are days when I prefer the ride of a regular board, but typically I like reverse or just get the best of both with dual camber.
