Just for grins, are there any dimensional differences between the RS6 and 2.7T hoods? It's rumored that V8 C5s could have a longer engine bay than V6 C5 models and I'm curious just how much longer.

Wow. Crazy to see the difference in fender widths.

Good luck with the project, but I have to question why you don't just buy an rs6 for the price you'll spend with the conversion...

it would be more expensive and way slower, and i would spend allot on converting it to stick.

    2 inches

I'm not hating but it would have probably been easier/cheaper to buy an A6 4.2 and put a 2.7tt in it.

i know that a6 4.2 is a bit cheap to convert to rs6, but to convert 4.2 to 2.7t 6speed is way more money!!! PLUS 4.2 costs more money than 2.7t thanks for your advice!!!

RS6 fenders are the same as the A6 4.2 in fact all the panels are the same as the 4.2.
