1991 Audi V8 4.2l

Hi guys

I'd like to introduce my audi V8. It was made in late 1991, it has 4.2l, 206Kw engine. When i bought it, it was "cyclamen red", it had some rust above the front window and some other places

it was with dark tinted windows, red rear lights, yellow blinkers on front bumber, some shity rims and so on.... But last owner had reassembled its engine and gear box

Now its body is fixed, repainted, i've put treser rear lights, renewed tinted front lights, replaced yellow blinkers by white ones, put black rims and gamma cc bose cassette player (with availability of 6 or 10 cd changer)

Not sure why u would change the cars color....Cyclamen is a pretty sexy color! So what shade of Black is that?

I don't know why i decided to change the color...i just don't like that cyclamen color

actually it's coffee brown with black shade, now it looks awesome

i know that v8 ir pretty rear car, but in lithuania (~2.5mil. population) it's about 20 still fine goinig V8s

Yes parts for the V8 are hideously expensive, difficult to find, or obsolete. The rule of thumb is if you buy a V8 then you need 2 or 3 more for parts : ). However the V8 is perhaps my all time favorite Audi.

now she's in my garage, there's lots of that damn "salt" on the streets ;// few months later i'll change the oil, steering wheel, springs and i've got an idea about ronal turbo R15.

One nice V8 you have there ;) About 3 years ago i also owned one, but crashed it later.
I give you one idea what you may do with your V8 :)
put that kind of wheels, clear front lights - including turning lights - repaint(or wash and wax) and belive me it is one of the nicest ones heare ;) :)

The V8's look dated as hell.. they make a B6 look like a spaceship haha. I would still love to own one though

fabuluos-v8, sorry, but those rims doesn't look good on V8 (for me)

soooooo the spring is coming, and i'll need a bunch of money for some stuff to do

so my plans are to change the steering wheel (from c3 to nardi torino), oil, "belt", springs, and maybe i'll get r16 ronal turbo wheels

if the springs wont help - gonna make some mad upgrades till i drop it like in that photo

i forgot to say, i've been in kind a meeting with her

sad, but this year i still can't drive it

but 2012.04.06 it will be the "big day" when i'll wake her up.....so some photos of meeting

performance of the engine isn't good as always....it gets too much of fuel and the cylinders aren't doing well....

not gonna happen. In order to make it look this perfect and equal from front to rear you will need coil overs. Springs is only a maximum drop that's why they are always rated cheaper. I got springs my self. Sometimes I want even lower but sometime I actually want to stick with this drop instead of scraping the bottom or rubbing the tires on fenders. The cool part about coil overs is that you can always adjust it in case the car is way too low.
