We are proud to offer our complete line of performance motor mounts for all 2.0T applications. Our line of Full Poly mounts is unlike any other poly options available. They are produced from a two part liquid cast system in several durometers. This results in both a more uniform product as well as a more durable one..
All mounts are available individually, either in insert or assembled form where applicable.
After years of design and testing we are proud to offer our complete replacement engine side mount for Audi Four cylinder vehicles.

BFI - Transmission Mount Inserts
Upgrade your transmission mount and put more power to the ground while experiencing smoother shifting. Our polyurethane inserts are a direct replacement for those soft OEM pieces and really make a noticeable difference. Fits all 4 Cyl. A3's.
BFI - Torque Arm Insert (Available for both FSI and TSI - 09+)

Our pendulum mount torque arm insert fills the voids in the stock rubber bushing, making what was a soft rubber bushing with voids into what behaves like a solid mount. With the insert installed, you will notice that throttle response will feel better and your shifts will feel more crisp and defined, especially on manual transmission cars.
Designed In-house, these mounts are made to be the stiffest on the market made from the highest quality (98a) durometer polyurethane. Each insert is pressure injection molded to insure a consistent hardness throughout the mount for long life even under hard driving condtions.
I was wondering how your Torque Arm Insert as your company calls it or the Dogbone Mount Insert Kit as called by ECS tuning is slightly different. There seems to be bigger gaps where the two spools or clip mounts are. I have a 2006 Audi A3 2.0T and was looking into getting one perhaps. I was thinking about going with your company's kit since you guys are $5 cheaper, but I just wanted to make sure I'm getting the right part.
just installed the dogbone mount. it's a tight fit, definitely needs lube to get it in. i got it most of the way in using some lathered up bar soap to lube it up. just tightened the bolt w/ the big washer to get the rest of it in.
after that, took it for a drive today and it feels great. car has less "clunk" sensation when shifting gears. im not sure how else to describe it.
regarding your TSI TAI, how does it compare to APR and Neuspeed's version? i'm just concerned about vibration. i know APR has two options. one is supposed to be slightly softer than the other. i'm not sure where neuspeeds compare to APR.

THANKS
Our torque arm insert is a harder durometer than the others on the market, but it is also a different design, with less constant contact area, so vibration differences will be minimal, and performance will be as good or better than others.

i see. i compared yours to the neuspeed version. sure enough, there is less constant contact area as you stated. hmmm...it seems if i wanted to uninstall if for whatever reason, it might easier to extract. i might have to give it a shot.
i bought the stage 1 kit... Best kit ever! engine movement down, interior vibrations minmal. passengers in car never noticed. and power transfer was so much cleaner, these are necessary for these high torque cars

Thanks for the feedback. We really appreciate the support!
I know this isn't an A3, but it shares the same motor and chassis as the A3s. Cool actually video of your BFI motor mounts installed. Can't wait to order some goodies from BFI.

You guys and gals coming to Southern Worthersee this year? If so, please make sure you have extra some torque mounts on the truck. I will be purchasing!

We will definitely be in attendance along with everything we can carry with us!
We do, we just do not have it listed since it's an uncommon inquiry. We offer fully assembled kits for the 6 cylinder that are compatible with your application which can be found here: http://yhst-1918367471896.stores.yahoo.net/enpe5.html
I just had my BFI dogbone mount insert installed on my 2006 Audi A3 2.0T this past weekend by Raven Motorsports down in Long Beach. I was surprised at how big the insert was when it came in the mail. It's almost looks like a soda can holder or something, but it was pretty soft and flexible. As many people have mentioned on this forum. It was a little tough to get in there and required a lot of lubrication and help with a soft mallet to whack it into place. Torqued it 74lbs and it was good to go. I did notice compared to the Neuspeed version of the dogbone mount insert, that it did not come with a little washer, but I guess that's okay. Might be getting a short shift kit of maybe the VF or BSH dog bone in the near future perhaps.
So far, the shifts seem a lot more crisp and clean. There is a little bit less freeplay if you try to move the shifter around. For the price point, fast shipping, and good customer service, I'm pretty pleased with this purchase. Thanks for the reviews from some of you guys on AZ that influenced my decision. =)

Poli84 - I am not 100% certain which torque arm insert your S3 has, but since its a 2010 it should have the 09+ insert. If you take a picture of your mount I can tell you for sure which one you need.
And you only need one torque arm insert per car (and one each of the other two mounts :) ).
Wanna give my 2 cents. Called you guys the other day about how I thought my BFI Stage 1 engine mounts were over-torqued, causing my downpipe to separate (or something idk lol). Anyway, just wanted to say I re-torqued to your specs from your website and it's held up great so far! Awesome customer service from Matt (I think that's who I talked to) as well as him having a lot of knowledge about my problem. Even with my shitty explanation he didn't miss a beat and helped me out greatly!

I figure you're going to do another post on the oil catch cans you guys came out with the other day. I didn't see or read that there was a drain plug on the catch can itself where you can attach a hose to drain it. Perhaps I'm missing something. Is the cylindrical knob on top a dipstick to check the level? Looks very well built and beautiful, but pricing is a wee too bit expensive compared to your competitors. =(
good which ones do i need to buy to fully emlim wheel hop?
Both stages will help eliminate wheel hop.
Stage I is designed with street cars in mind.
Stage II is for those more concerned with performance then comfort.
