    2.0L HTA GT3582R+30psi+water meth+115 race gas+slipping clutch=545 awhp 477.4awtq

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
bob did 18 pulls on my car yesterday and today 545awhp 477.4awtq with slipping clutch and timing belt jump a tooth off, and 2.5inch mid pipe split in to 2 2.25inch exhaust, from the dyno graph you can tell the torque is on and off, coz of the slipping. i am uploading the video now, it will be on youtube soon.
the clutch is Clutch Master FX600, brand new , i have no idea why the clutch is slipping, maybe it's time to go FX850.
so the next upgrade will be two 3 inch resonator and 2 race mufflers, and the clutch.
i think the car will make 600awhp no problem with 35psi and a better exhaust system.
also the dyno is with winston's okada coil packs in it. they make 30awhp 30awtq more than my rev Ds.coz the boost was blowing the sparks away. and the akada ones makes much stronger sparks for sure.
the video is shoot when the timing belt off 1 tooth, and the turbo spools about 500rpm sooner when corrected timing belt.
water meth stage 2 kit from clint@RAI, 175cc nozzle on intercooler inlet, and 625cc before the TB. 15psi start inject juice and 19psi full spray.

    Congrats man!!!

Just curious, which turbine housing are you using ( .63 A/R or .82)? Get the clutch sort out, then I bet the number will be even more impressive!

    whow.....that is impressive.

im not surpirsed that those coilpacks can add that power. the way i see it, they are hotter and more precise so they can only help create full combustion/optimize timing to be closer to Spec than the OEM ones. In other words, they dont add power, they give back to you what is there for the taking.

no , i will do it without meth and with meth just to see how much it helps, but really, it helps a lot, just like what clint said to me, it pulls like a train.

Nice, looks like ole boy Clint has some work to do to match mid 500s with his HTA35r. Clutch don't make any sense, that thing should hold that power for sure. And I will be sure to never buy those Revision D coilpacks, Revision R seem to work like a charm for me.

I think the 115oct gas is doing more than the meth in this case.

I don't exactly have plans to make 550whp or I would have bought a bigger turbo, you know, like you guys. You HTA guys are supposed to be the heavy hitters, after all you are running a more bad ass turbo than Mike Hood ran. But I wouldn't go doubting my little turbo that could either. Wait until I get my new tune and I will go dyno on race gas in the 30s psi rangd and see what she has in her.

after i finish the 1/4 tank of race gas, and also i have to sort out why the torque falls down and goes up again issue.

Estimate is -80whp with pump gas in the tank.

The head is built so he can spin it a lot higher than it shows on the dyno. I'd like to see the new dyno charts once the clutch is replaced.

it should make 500 on pump without putting more boost. if the torque didn't fall from 477 to 350, then the hp would go up at least 60 more.

Yea that is weird that peak was so early. Is the AFR solid? My graph looked like that when I ran out of fuel. Also the ECU might have been pulling timing for some reason

ARF was lean as +14 for a sec when the turbo just hit the peak, then came down all the way between 12 to 12.5. i know i have enough fuel and the ECU wasn't pulling timing all the way to 7500rpm. and it throw a code p1340, camshaft (g40) and crankshaft position sensor (g28) with incorrect correlation. coz the timing belt off 1 tooth. no more codes after change back to the correct timing, but the power still drops and bob felt the clutch slipping so i will check my clutch first before anything else.

Philip, we are doing a project on a B8 right now. If you're serious, we can make some serious power on B8 too
